Is it okay to recommend wierwilles books to others?
Thomas Loy Bumgarner replied to ImLikeSoConfused's topic in About The Way
Kenyon died in the late 40's and Bullinger in the late 20's. Neither one of them was alive when Wierwille did his class or wrote his books to sue him for Plagarism of copyrighted materials, -
Scientology has people following former members and confronting them with cameras, recordings, and threatening them with court cases

A&E is re-running the series with a new episode tonight at 9pm DEST about journalists bullied and threatened by Scientology. Bet TWI would have done this under VPW and LCM. -

Mike, you said when Jesus returns he will have a copy of the "Orange" Book aka PFAL in his right hand. What drugs were you taking when having that hallucination dream? -
Trust and obey, all things in The Way, Marked and Avoided, if you don't trust and obey

Giv,e me the original authors like Albert Benjamin Simpson, Alfred Tozer, Ruben Archer Torrey, Ethelbert Bullinger, Kenyon, Theodore Austin-Sparks, Watchman Nee, Jock Edward Stiles, Brian George Leonard, George Lamsa, Rocco Errico, Frank Viola, Milt Rodreiguiez, Jon Zens. -
whether groups like Joyful Noise, Pressed Down, Good Seed, Paul Vergillio would have progressed to the level of Hillsong, Casting Crowns, Don Moen, Ron Kenoty, Newsboys, Paul Baloche, Robin Mark, Bob Fits, Brian Donerksen, or Chris Tomlin to name a few is highly doubtful with VPW in charge of Way Productions, much less LCM or RR.

I never said you and timlee were the same. Both you and he should read some of the books by former TWI believers who are members of GSC. Also LCMS pastor John Juddes has written articles about Wierwille because he counseled so many former members. Imlikesoconfused, if you are a different person from timlee, please accept my apology for accusing you of being a troll(which I did not). Also read some of the forums here on GSC. They may clear up some confusion. -

Tim, you sound angry that we know things about Wierwille that you disagree with. If you are a Southern Baptist preacher with a BA in Theology, you should recognize we are not into giving Fake News about TWI. Experts both from outside and former members from the inside know the truth better than you. Are you an old time Way believer or child of one? -
Why do all the good people leave......

My advice? Throw everything out and find better material for spiritual growth. -

saw the last episode where Scientology has sued Leah and Mike in court. Wow, many former Scientologists are afraid Sciaviage might even murder them and would not be prosecuted. Now that is fear and they have Threatened many in court and no one wants to threatened Scaviage. Wonder if he murdered his wife Shelly? -
Regained my sanity. Leah Remini's series on A&E and reading Charlene's 1st chapter from Undertow has truely spiritually renewed my mind to adult maturity, not TWI's perverted "Renewed Mind". Thank God I never had screaming matches with Wierwille, Geer, or Martindale, or all 3 would be dead and I would be in prison for life with no parole. Yes, formerly I could give back what they would put out, and they would have been bullied by me. Of course I no longer am that angry.

My song of the moment changes. It was Christmas/Winter songs, now listening to CCM, all from Spotify and occasionally Pandora

In addition to the Larry King interview, ABC' 20/20 not only interviewed Leah and Mike Rinder, but also Scientology's lawyer who interestingly is a Roman Catholic herself. Wierd, strange bed fellows. -

so why was Geer chosen as Trunk leader replacement over Wilkins? -

The major difference is The Way International claim the Bible as the source(likewise Branch Davidians) where as Ron Hubbard rejected Scripture and did Dianetics as a self help pyshological therapy, originally denying religion and never did "worship services", only after Miscaverge became Chairman of the board of directors(RFR like?) did the IRS finally declare them a religion and non-profit tax status. So a different type of cult. -

I thought Switzerland was suppose to be the European trunk but the country considered TWI a cult, so England was chosen instead with Robert Wilkins? as limb and trunk leader
