Wow, Wordwolf, I'd never seen that one until now! Good info! Sudo, as far as the one you just posted - I get at LEAST a dozen of those every day!

Icy, why does that not surprise me? In my opinion, the Popeye cartoons went WAAAAAY downhill after Max Fleischer stopped drawing them. I remember one of Max's in particular that was really amazing, the one where Popeye is Aladdin - the effects when he unveils treasures are incomparable and unduplicated. They just don't draw 'em like that any more.

I don't remember where I heard about that. But Oenophile would probably be a better person to discuss that - he may tell you something different.
-
Yeah, those Pats will take it all.
-
I'm confused now.

Great, yet another thread infected by smikeol trying to promulgate his sewage. Yophoto, please hurry and get your site back up so smikeol can post there some more for people that appreciate the gunk that's coming out of his pie hole - or some other hole.

Lianne - The proper amount of time for a wine to sit undrunk differs between wines. The wine that you have is at its peak right about now. If you wait too much longer, it will lose some of its nuances, or perhaps even turn to vinegar if it's not properly stored. As for zins, they are better when young - no more than 1 to 2 years old. If I were you, I'd soon find a special occasion for that bottle.

They said it got down to +3 degrees here in the Chicago area last night, but to me it felt like no more than +2 degrees.

Gosh, Ryan Cawdor, whyn't you tell us what you *really* think? -
Hey!!! I already had dibs on the gum under the tables!!!

There's a new George Foreman grill that's out now that has removable parts to make it much, much easier to clean. Of course, that doesn't help you, does it?

She didn't get a tattoo. This was at the very tail end of the war. I think my uncle said that they were only there for a few weeks.

Personally, I think that I would rather go in the blink of an eye. I guess that if you know someone is dying, you at least get a chance to say goodbye, and when it's very sudden like this, you don't.
-
Yup. But she doesn't remember very much from back then.

That sticker was on a g-spotter's car - La Matilda. She's posted about it.

AS/400's aren't obsolete. Allstate Insurance used to put an AS/400 into each captive agent's office. The company I work for now puts them into its retail operations.

My grandparents and mother and uncles (except fot the youngest) were all born in Lithuania. They fled from the Soviets, and ended up in Germany, where my youngest uncle was born. My grandparents and my mom just never talked much about Europe, and I never really thought to ask. My uncle was over at our house for a party we were having, and he got to talking to our German neighbor, and that's how and when it came out.

I guess I'm a bit sensitive to this because I recently found out that my mom, her parents, and her brothers were residents of Auschwitz towards the end of WWII.

johnyouare, your analogy is very faulty. It is NOT like saying that. John Durbin has not been accused of what docvic(praise be his name) was accused of. Nor was he the accuser.

I don't think any of us really has the time or desire to spend on unbalanced individuals. I say that catcup did what she needed to do by contacting law enforcement authorities, and with God's help she's done with him.

I just heard the last few words of a TV commercial last night, and LightScribe was mentioned. If it's already on TV, it must be fairly stable.

Hoper - I got that number from someone more recently out from that region in a PT.
