I mean if it is sickening to you and debilitating to your moving on, then why do you come here? The first question "is greaspot for a bunch of Whiners?" Greasespot has been a place to get together and talk honestly about what happened. In that honesty is deliverance, IMO. To others who were severly damaged it has been baby steps to health. Many have been healed here and just hang with old friends. If you think people are shining and it annoys you, then do not engage in conversing with them. I could get on the coach if I wanted. He always thought someday I would let him "do" me. Because my WOW's still thought he was "cool" I got them to meet him as well with no invite. I got ya. I work for a man who has been here 30 years. 30 years! And he tells me all the time that the "yankee" in him gets him in trouble. Okay. Now Sprawled out Allow me to introduce some others from GSC. Some have never been awakened by the sound of a jack-hammer on cement but by birds. Some gentle souls actually hang bird feeders and write music. One girl plays the mandolin. Several are involved in animal rescue. I know of at least one who whittles wood and another who makes beautiful woodwork Some stop at a corner pub on the way from work while others sit at a bookstore and enjoy a decaf. When I had a run of life which nearly destroyed us, (husband lost job and has been in and out of illness) Some hunted me down and sent me helpful, needful things. Most are innately kind. And many are ferociously loyal to gentle people who sometimes get picked on. I don’t know how many speak “NYC” but many speak to their gardens, to their patients, and still pray to a God whom they NEVER stopped believing in. Some ran out of the WAY barely alive, with a soul so torn apart it took them years of reading posts before they posted. A few folks were yelled at by LCM for over 20 years and only stayed because their husband or wife was not ready to go. Some girls have been raped by leadership. Others have been drugged and woke next to the fat man some used to revere as the moggie. In many ways we are all here to get fixed, help others get fixed, figure out what happened, seek something that was lost, understand how PFAL helped us but moggie hurt many of us, or all of the above. So, when a poster who has been afraid to speak in TWI for 22 years says something and another person says, “What are you nuts, why would anyone think that?” Sometimes it retards the one speaking out for the first time in years. (Not that this is a quote.) Yet, after one has been here 6 years and still thinks a certain way and you know they are not breathing for the first time, then a statement like that might be PERFECT. IF you are perceived as hurting some of the “Family” here you will be pounced on as there is a strange connection and understanding between most of us. I suggest until you get to know folks, you may want to learn how to speak a language other than “NYC” in an effort to be heard. ‘Cause you are also here as a result of being in a cult. Psalmie Dogs need protein, if you are just feeding her carbs with broth you are doing a disservice to her health. They are carnavores and NEED protein. You can order EVANGERS Duck and Sweet Potato which may be good for her. It is good for those with allergies. If they cannot do that, then offer them Solid Gold with Buffaloe meat. Most dogs can tolerate that. But your nursing dog NEEDS protein. And does the broth you are giving them have onions? Onion shut down a dogs kidneys. She also needs vitamins. My 14 year old chow mix just had his bloodwork done. He has the blood of a pup. I give then holistic food and treats. NAd I have cooked for them - like you. I will give them bits of hamberger or chopped up steak, they get vitamins and Omega oils in their food. White Dove's site seems very good. Kit I see your point I had a friend who had a daughter. The daughter was about 14 years old and had her little friend spend the night. Anyway, the girls cut school the following day and the school notified the father. He sat down with the girls and yelled at them, then called the friend's mother and said "our girls cut shcool" The little friend was so upset and wanted to shift the focus that she told her mother, "Well HE touched my breast" The mother took her to the police and they pressed charges. Well, my friend ran a store within the courthouse in New York. He lost his job on an accusation, because he had a pending child-molestation case no one would hire him. So, he lost his home and a friend let him sleep on his couch. HE also could not see his daughter without another person present. After a year+, finally the case came up. My friend won as they found the girl had been accusing people of this her whole life. AND they found a hand written note to one her friends that she was going to GET him and how. His life was ruined because of this kid
