Do you find churches do not have answers? I went in pain over a rocky marriage. Distraught and without hope. I went to churches, and talked to non-TWI ministers because I wanted answers. What I have seen is: I go to church “sick at heart” and they tell me to go do outreach. Its all about more membership. Last weeks” sermon “Are you part of a fired-up church?” I looked around and thought, “no”. You heal people then they are excited, then they tell people then there is growth. I came home and opened a book I had for 5 years and never read The Power of a Praying wife. SHE and I both were at our wits end and wanted to leave. I had given up. Why would anyone say so many mean things? Why would this happen?” God, please help him to be better… And there it was in this book. The answers. I am not getting answers to my prayers because I have not prayed correctly. HE has free will. I cannot pray to CHANGE him. But I can pray against evil. I can pray against the wall between us. I can pray for my understanding from his perspective. And I did. I saw so many things wrong with me. She covered David’s wife Michal and how David was so happy the ark of the covenant was being brought to their city he danced in his underwear. (That is really cute!) Well, she embarrassed him, Humiliated David. Did not respect him. And she paid a price for it. 2 Sam 6:16 In order for me to save my husband I had to learn HOW to be a better Christian wife. It had gotten lost in all of the fighting. God came through but it was again not at church. I have gotten anwers from watching Joyce Myers. From some of you here. But I really think of VP's story of the alcoholic. (It applies here) Came to church VP taught on the evils of alcoholism Guy said, you can't teach me the evils of alcoholism I am living it, I know all about the evils. You pushed me deeper in. I came here to learn how to "Get out of it" (or something like this) I felt like that guy. I came to church to get anwers and healing. I left being condemned because we were not fired up enough. Heck, teach the right stuff and then we will be fired up.

Twinot If they do tell their husbands, it does break the secret between the Leader and the woman. Otherwise, there is a "special secret" they share. However, some spouses may not be able to hear that. It could cause them to feel differently towards their wives. Or explode in anger It depends, in my opinion.

Amen on the Joe G thing. HE was genuine

Hope, I did not eat the turnip, I am just reading a quote from Evan from another thread and it gave me the willys Feeling better now thanks

Boy, I hope it was a joke. When I read what Evan wrote it really caused me to go "Whoa" I had a hard enough time coming to grips that I was tricked into a cult. If I found it was truly run by a Grand Wizard I would have to question my ability to judge anything. So people were laughing and it was a joke? Okay. Maybe I am just a person who joined a cult rather than the rest... I am just an x-cultist. The grand wizard did not ask me for a BJ Just a fat old cult leader. Odd, but that makes me feel much better.

Well how do you handle this? Some of the women whom VP screwed, he then fixed them up with corps guys. The poor corps men thought the leadership had an interest in whom they married.... It was a girl crawling out of LCM's bed or VP's bed. So, does the wife now say, "I was balling VP and he thought you would be a good husband for me. It wasn't revelation or some great interest in you, it was pillow talk and the moggie thought you might be a good one for me to be directed to?" I have a male friend whose wife used to bang the VIP and then VIP was instumental in fixing them up... He has no idea she used to service the moggie. I have always felt bad for him. What a rip off.

http://altreligion.about.com/library/weekly/aa101306a.htm Friday the Thirteenth: 700 years ago The day of Friday the Thirteenth, 1307, which began so uneventfully, was the beginning of one of the world's most enduring mysteries, and one of its greatest tragedies. On that morning, Philippe le Bel, the King of France, in collusion with the Pope, gave orders for the arrest of over one hundred knights of the Order of the Temple, on charges of heresy. Over the next seven years, dozens were tortured, tried, and executed. Many more were imprisoned. The Grand Master of the order, Jacques De Molay, was broken and burned at the stake. The Knights Templar and the original "unlucky day"

When I wrote my birth to the corps I did include that I had been a witch. I was looking for power in my life. I choose Christianity. But I wrote this in my paper THAT HE READ. Do you think that is WHY VPW sent for me? Then tried to "get me" He thought I already had a taste of "the life" and could handle it? So, I got out of witchcraft, into Christianity to find out it was a cult, which may have been witchcraft with a grand wizard? God, Evan did you have to hold the cross upside down and break the cross bar down? What else happened? I need to know. I think this maybe the final chapter in my understanding WHAT happened? That was the big joke of the peace sign, in the 60's. It was the sign of the broken cross and kids everywhere were wearing it. I am sorry but I am really upset. Thank you SOOOOO much for sharing all of this. This might be a classic.

Talking about CG being arrested- Then, Lindy posted something Evan said in 2004 by giving us the link" ""Initiation into the Inner Sanctum of The Way". That was the name of the event. It was an early summer school stay for me...perhaps '71, maybe '73 or 4. It was done between the pond & the road, same area as the ROA '71 site. a campfire was blazing. As I walked up, several black robed 7 hooded characters pointed silently with bony finger toward the campfire. Creepy. A group of us assembled, maybe 15 or 20 or so, around the fire, ringed by a line of black robed & hooded characters. Then Wierwille's arrival was announced by creepy chanting, I'm guessing in Latin. He was garbed like the others. He had stuff in his pockets he would grab and throw on the fire that would couse a big poof of flame. You get the picture. I can't remember what he was talking about, in a campily sinister voice. The hooded guards compelled the initiates to bow to 'the wizard'. Then he administered "the sacrement", communion-wafer smile, to aeach participant. It turned out to be some foul Indian horseradish-like root substance that burned like the fires of hell. My mouth was painfully scorched for 3 days. That's what I can remember. Pretty wierd cult. I didn't frink the kool-ade, though." This sounds pretty witchcrafty to me. The orgies are also in black witcraft in some covens. Which now would explain the group sex stuff with the TWI idiots. What the F? Was VPW the counterfiet to what BG Leonard and real preachers were doing? There was the Jesus movement and then the WAY was a counterfiet with the blueprints drawn up in he ll? And the plan executed by a Grand Wizard living in a cornfield in Ohio? I mean, what the F? What were we really into? http://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/index.ph...mp;#entry150938 Sounds like the iluminade indoctrination http://www.kt70.com/~jamesjpn/articles/joh..._illuminati.htm Now, some have debunked John Todd, but I had his tape from around 1972- 74ish. And in the Jesus movement there were other things that talked about this group. http://www.kt70.com/~jamesjpn/articles/illuminati_plan.htm

Lindy Good post

I saw bunches of kindness. And I saw bunches of unkindness. The kindness was mostly from regular folks and people before they became BIG leaders. The unkindness was mostly from corps leadership and corps coordinators. Oh and unkindness from the corps trying to make a name for themselves.

I am not in CFF nor am I in any splinter group. But I have thought about this prior to this thread. If I started a fellowship and it was hot for God and it began to grow.... How would I deal with growth? Suppose someone I trusted wanted to have another fellowship associated with mine. How would I know if they went off the deep end and were using the association with me to move their teachings? Really. Put the shoes on for a moment. You have a hot fellowship People adore coming and are having great God things happen Then, picture a guy in your association wants to split the group in expansion and it is a good idea as the group is large. Next, you hear that someone maybe preaching weird stuff. Whatever, let's say he begins to advocate multiple brides. How else do you check it out? You go listen and see what is happening. If the fellowship is hot you tell the nay Sayers to go pound sand, if its not you have to deal with that.... I don't see anyway around it. Now, the problem then comes in when I get full of myself and have the POWER to decide what is taught--- How do I stay pure? I might have a small group of researching believers (not yes men) to confer with. If CFF was checking on people associated with them to see what they taught -- well, I don't see anyway around it. If they are becoming nuts about it then the group, the watchdogs need to step forward and say something. We all need help walking this walk. If what SOGWAP heard, I do not doubt she was told that, was true then there maybe some problems. If what she was told was a half-truth or an exaggerated version then that needs to be considered. Here is the question: How would you grow a church? And make sure that your associated fellowships were not teaching adultery? OR perverted financial things? Or hurting kids? You would have to go find out wouldn't you? I don't know if CFF is "off" or "on". I just do not see anyway to check on things being taught other than check on things being taught. NOT a written submission, which cuts out spontaneity or the HS working in your heart, but to PREVENT the horrible secret teachings done by the TWI elitist or the David Coreshes? It must be hard trying to do all of this. One can only pray they are pure at heart and humble before God and if one sees they are not then confront them, if you think they are off the deep end then leave. Any good “company” group” “church” needs to have feed back. But any good “Leader” needs to have checks and balances. IMHO

I worry about you over there. Can't wait until you are home. I pray for your wife as well. One of the TV God shows was talking about how The garden of Eden and all kinds of biblical places are in Iraq. I never knew that. It really makes me "think" ya know, that we might be fighting where IT all began... Do you get a sense of how old the world is there? as we are such a young country?

Happy Birthday I got you a gift http://www.3d-screensaver-downloads.com/im...nsaver/big2.jpg

Yeah, some people try to say human grade isn't, but the holistic Vet thinks FIRST, we should do some cooking and if not he suggests Solid Gold or Canidea. And the American Holistic Vet. Association reccomends Solid Gold and Canidae and other "human grade" foods. Even if they bake things into a biscuit type food, it is still human grade meaning they did not start wout with beaks and feathers, zoo animals who died of a disease, etc. Also in regular commercial food they buy up the old hamberger from the store and do not unwrap it. The dead "egg laying chickens" are thrown in their, the cancer ridden cows etc. They throw the styrofoam right into the "brew". It is so toxic! I prefer cooking for them but being as I work a lot I am exhausted so I buy the best I can

This is really funny!

I think they did a good job on the page. If I were reading it I would have no idea it was boob grabbing, drink spiking sex cult. I like the little pictures. Now, if only they showed Jesus kinda fading into a motor coach with a man drinking drambue with a 3 " woody they pretty much would be honest with their advertisment
