Going back to the original post The reason I cannot stand VPW or LCM is that they NEVER ever said they were wrong or they were sorry. They did not change their "ways" but tried to recruit others to join them in sexually abusing teenagers looking for Jesus. But you came on here and pretty much said you were wrong, sorry and getting help. I always said if TWI ever said something like that I would forgive them. I am sickened by your crime as I am the crimes of VPW and LCM. However, I must say if you truly are sorry and you truly are seeking help and you do understand the horror of your actions then it took courage for you to come here. However, some of your statements really have me concerned such as: What does that mean? Because, in all honesty, with certain of your statements it is clear you still really need help. And on going never ending chemical castration might be in order. I saw a pediphile being interviewed and he said he actually tells the people around him that he is a pediphile to ensure people have been warned because the urges never go away. I have a few questions for my learning. And to help keep children safe. Now, I jumped from page 3 to here so if it was covered, just tell me. How do we avoid you? What is it that drives you? Why the innocent? is it about power? Stealing innocence? How did you think -- without being crude but in an effort to be able to "spot" others like you This guy on TV talked about the seduction, the targeting the loner kid with problems is all that true? Here is what I do not get, you see a child that has "problems" and you have nothing within you that feels compassion? Nothing that says to your brain -- that poor kid? Instead, it is like a bob cat and an injured rabbit? How does one see a child as an object to be used? I was that child you went after (not the actual but I could have been) and for years I have questioned "why?" and "why me?" It is fact that after being sexually abused as a child your chances soar to become an alcoholic, drug addict and under acheiver. In other words, the life they would have had has been forever thrown off course. I think about the guys who did it to me and I still want to know why? I never knew why they did that to me? I just want to know why?

WW Yes indeed. It is like dating a man who raped two women. But he had 24 women he dated and did not rape. He is still a rapist.

I bring it up each time a VPW fan tried to imply he was a martyr, infallible, or worth our unchallanged loyalty even years after the exposure. I do not bring it up for attention, to be a victim or to get sympathy. I bring it up for balance. When someone writes about their loyalty to the end that they “do not care” what they heard about VPW, or if anyone suggests it is a rumor, or if they say it is hearsay. I witnessed it, therefore I bring it up as I can be a first person witness. I bring it up to help others understand WHO they are worshiping, WHAT kind of man they have decided to follow, even after death. I bring it up to help break blind alliance so perhaps someone out there may/can be set free. Since, it is being discussed again I have gotten e-mails from newbies who knew something wasn’t right but never got to talk to someone who was there – so-to-speak. These are my reasons. To me, from the point of empowerment: There is strength in helping others and a journey to go from being a cripple to a warrior. The story may first be told as almost a feeler – will people believe me? Will they bash me? Will they blame me because I have a vagina? Then, a few people connect and there is a small group of healing people becoming emboldened, as they are able to discuss it without rebuff. Then, one day you get rebuffed or suffer a strong rebuke and it is a little painful and makes one wobble and nearly crawl back into the silence, but you have already brought it up and found part of the strength of the abuse is in the secret of it. So, timidly you fight back and give voice to the girl/woman who was brutally injured. And after a few times – or many times you do not fear the unbelievers. And soon you can confront your attacker – in person— in a letter – or in a private place where you merely YELL at the memory. Soon, you find yourself across the bridge, the one that started out as victim then ended as a warrior, or lecturer, or rape counselor, or rape volunteer. You become someone who can help others on the journey to health. The scoffers fade, they still whine and point fingers but you barely hear their squeal, and their rebuke does not matter. It does not hurt. And you are healed and truly can help others. If it bothers others to read it, well either they lack empathy, or are tired of it, do not believe you, or are ignorant of the vile depth of the offense and the lingering after effects . None of these things will stop one who KNOWS they have reached other cripples and took them across the bridge to health. It is such a joy to cross this bridge. It is such a rough and painful journey.

Hard to read it, huh? Well, that is my point. You can't even read it -- try having to have lived it. If you did then your opinion would not be what it is. If you can't look at it or read it -- then you really would have hated VPW's ministry -- 'cause that was his ministry. Can't see yourself in that situation... Neither could I, or the umpteen others, but one day there it was -- the truth, the man behind the curtain wasn't trying to lead me to Jesus but rather wanted to pull a stiff one eye. It was all about him. The reason you love what he "said" is you only heard him repeat the words of the WORD of God. That tells me how powerful God's word is, that even on the lips of a man using it to boink teenagers -- the words off those beautiful pages still reached a heart looking for a loving God. It was the power of Jesus Christ reaching you, with the words from a man, whom I do not think really ever believed the Bible, or could not have done the things he did -- (repeatedly). It would be like a person who wants to make fun of the Bible reads a few verses to mock God -- and you heard them, and even through the mockery God's love was so strong they reached past the mocker and still gave love. VPW was NOT a great man. God is a great God to have such a powerful love that it could be uttered by a fool and still reach the heart of a person. Praise God, not VPW -- he really really is not worth your loyalty

Well, people are saying they have seen you attacked. And that is true. But it also appears you have had your fangs out first in many cases including towards me in my Thread on Pit bulls. It is Ying and Yang here. Don’t dish it out if you cannot take it. I do not care if you stay or if you go on a personal level. It is your choice. But here is the thing: Every protagonist needs an antagonist to give balance to a point of view. And although we agree on nothing, I think lacking someone to disagree with, can make the forum boring and lopsided. Sometimes fighting keeps things interesting. So, if I were to vote, I would vote for you to stay. Not because I am in agreement with you or that we share any common views, but because you are entitled to your own opinion. And sometimes those opinions can lead to a fight. So, fight it out. Some days you win some days you loose. Sometimes you will be the only one who feels a certain way – but isn’t that better than all being Craig clones in agreement? Part of the fun here is to disagree. If a thread begins down a healing path and you do not agree just have the compassion to leave it. OR if you have a real stand “make it” then move on. These are the boards. They can be nasty. Iams is on the list and the grocery store I went to, pulled even their dry food. I am not sure why as only the wet was listed. Iams had a great recipee and about 4 years ago it was bought by another company and changed the recipee I heard. Dogs started itching and scratching the same way they did on the cheaper foods. Investigate it if you like

I called Purina and none of their food is on the recall list. But like I said, I am just saying what the emergency room is saying to do until the dust settles

To be safe, the emergency room is suggesting what I wrote above until the dust settles. We have had cats and dogs die and get very sick at the animal hospital where I am employed. Started off with the (menu foods) company or the news reporting 12 brands, then 42 then 95 brands of food were bad. They swore the dry was okay -- The grocery store up the street pulled its dry food even though it was not listed --- do they know something? I dunno But.... On Saturday Hill's came and pulled M/D dry food. It is a perscription diet food. Looking for Advice: Last week, I called the emergency room and they are telling people to use junior baby food (make sure there are no onions) and cut up bolied skinless chicken and add cooked rice -- until the dust settles. (no seasonings, no salt, no onions just chicken and rice) Paul Newman's and other organics had nothing to do with the manufacturing plant(s) that caused the problems, so they are a good thing to try. The bad food: The kidneys present as if they have anti-freeze posioning, odd crystals in the urine and then death. If you have used the food (the recalled) get to your vet for a blood test and some fluids to flush the kidneys.
