So many newbies, so many still blinded by vp...
Dot Matrix replied to tonto's topic in About The Way
Great, because I am NOT afraid of you. You are on ignore for the following reasons: You insulted John Juedes about having something like time to POST here at GS, you have posted around 1100 posts since May, shame on you. Or told Rascal if she passed the basket you'd spit in it, etc. Or yelled at Sunesis in your huge letters You were so mean to Cman, I could not imagine why he would respond to you The list is endless. These are people we have known for years. And although we (the people who have been here for years) may not agree on VPW, for a newbie to arrive here spewing insults and flaming arrogance, it is bothersone to have you insult these people. We do not always AGREE with them, but they have been part of the community for years, most of us do not take it lightly when someone shows up throwing lightening bolts at any of us. It is NOT what you are saying it is HOW you have been saying it. You burst on the scene like a "hitman" or something. What do you expect? Bunches of people to embrace you? Even CARE what you have to say -- given your methods? I believe you are the first person I have put on ignore in 8 years So, YOU ARE ON IGNORE. I suggest everyone, bothered by you, do the same. Oldies- This is not about you, we have disagreed. But this is NOt about you Again, people can think what they want. It is not about the opinions it is about the RECENT malicious delivery of those opinions. -

Oldies You are right anyone can believe whatever they want to believe. Some people come here out of confusion. It is delivering to discover that BG's class was SO stolen that even "Maggie Muggins and Johnny Jump up" were people BG used in "his" class. Some X-wafers, who were hurt stay in a confusing circle, at times, --- i.e., how could a class by VP deliver me and yet he was so awful? It can be releasing to discover the "red flags" and the feelings to LEAVE were not the devil tricking us to LEAVE -- but God begging (so-to-speak) us to flee a situation that would harm us. So, yes, people can keep believing Vick was a "saint-of-a-man" (so to speak). OR they can be able to put the pieces together of how a "messenger/teacher" of God could be so perverse. Simply we learned of a GREAT GOD in a class that a true minister developed, then was stolen by a failing creep who desired power and sex, so there WAS some good -- it was set in the middle of much bad. So, it WAS OKAY with God for us to leave -- and again the nagging little voice prodding us to leave was NOT the devil -- it was the Lord trying to lead us back to him... I feel the issue, which TONTO has cleared up for us, is the arrogance and the condescending, acrimonious way some new posters have decided to invade us. Just appear on the scene with a belching foul arrogance, where they feel it is "their duty”, or arrogantly their entitlement to come to a community and begin breathing fire, twisting experiences and being inanely rude. That arrogance is very TWI-like, or Craig-like, or devilish, or being socially inept. Take your pick. -

Ham On Montel Williams today, he had girls who were subject to incest. It was said over and over in various ways that they were to keep the secret, placed in FEAR of something bad happening to them if they spoke and CONVINCED by the father/stepfather that using their body to please "him" was their job. These are very similar statements, people have said here and off the boards, after encounters with sinister Vick. Finding out about the "inner circle" and put in a position to be involved, I was PRESSURED to keep my mouth shut. When I "spoke out" I was possssessssed..... Rascal has stated she stayed due to the FEAR they put into her about leaving, as others have stated, and women were told in marriage counseling to engage more in oral sex and it would fix everything. So, yes it was the steps the predator takes, secrets, stealing the human spirit and replacing it with the spirit of fear, and robbing woman of anything other than the right to be a "penis receptacle." Tonto: Again, I think that Mr. Caustic Newbie needs to be confronted --- good for you One of my first encounters with him he used the word f---ing and tried to intimidate me-- MISTAKE I am a woman but I do not shake at little boys with BIG mouths and something to prove -- because they are lacking in the real world. He has been a bully to Rascal, Sunesis and anyone else he tried to engage in a cock fight. But gee, when he gets to the cock fight, he is the only "cock" who showed up! <_< It's like stop posting and take a viagra or buy a red sports car... Still proud of you Tonto!!! And anyone else who said enough is enough! Changed a typo -
Belle Yes, aviod starting that one.

WW I think you are right, but Tonto is not speaking against diversity, but rather against new people showing up with a bullying attitude. Tonto: I think Abi is saying she has found it time in her life, and her walk with God to learn how a soft answer turneth away wrath. Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Here is the thing, for her that maybe right, for you it is to take 5 polished stones and a sling shot, as Goliath did not fall by soft spoken words. David RAN to meet the Philistine as the Philistines spewed insults…. So it depends, we all need to find our voice in our battle. Yours may be to RUN to the Philistine defending the multitude who are afraid. AND I believe it was the RIGHT THING for him/them to hear from her and from you. Perhaps, a soft answer was needed to reach him/her from Abi, AND perhaps a big old SHUT UP was something he/they needed to hear from you. Perhaps, that is why we are a body and have different functions, for the wrong people to be soft with him/them it may become coddling --- For the wrong people to confront him/them it may just seem mean. Believe me there are many more about to come forward with a big ole shut up while people like Dan have been using a soft answer. Maybe, all of this is needed to reach past a tough leather case to find a child of God who has been hurt --- or needed (doing the right thing) to run a "plant" off if someone were to be placed here by TWI. David had enough and God energized him to slay the "dragon" It was needed and it was right. I Samuel 17 34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35 and I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. 37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. 38 And Saul armed David with his armor, and he put a helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. 39 And David girded his sword upon his armor, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him. 40 And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine. 41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him. 42 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance. 43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. 45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands. 48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David. 51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled. You each did the right thing for YOU. And said, what I believe, NEEDED to be said to him/them. And just because Abi was inspired to use a soft answer does not mean that you should not continue to weld the sword. In other words, don't let people tell you how to deal with this just because they are doing something differently -- not that anyone is doing that-- but sometimes things can feel that way. It gets back to this Some of the most quoted words of the Bible are from the Book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 3, verses 1-8: “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.” -

Great post Tonto! the arrogance of some new poster(s) has been palatable There is no need for a castrated bull, to barge in here looking for his testicles, by verbally backing down & murdering people with a smug Craig-like attitude. It is harsh and uncalled for, I am thankful Tonto and T-bone spoke up. Anyone want to be like Craig? Go find him and knock yourselves out with the vein popping madness and ego mania. There is no need for it here. Unless of course they are plants, which many think they are, and I tend to agree. And yes, someone may get offended by "Twit" but that was a response to such bad behavior all over the board, on the part of a newbie, I find it an understatement. Wrds and Wrks It is a tragedy that SOM is no longer posting as he is such an asset and if given a chance he would have been the welcome well in the middle of a dessert. However, you all showed up around the same time as the "badger (s)". I am truly sorry that the frustration leaked onto you and yours. If anyone knew you, they would know you are NOT pro TWI – but VERY pro-God. Not surviving on ego, but kind caring souls who love God's people I hope that Som will feel welcome if he ever pokes his head in here again Rosestoyou and Lizzie Surely you know this is not about either of you, it is pretty obvious the one (s) who has been arrogantly throwing the weight around with rude condescending fever - it is not you - welcome -
I love this WW It does not take away FREE will, it appears God knows his whole life before he was even formed - so God's hand was on him because he KNEW him before... An all knowing God, IMO

Cman Som and Wrds and Wrks had some insight on this I believe. I will send her a pm and see if she has any insight, but I believe SOM had some really big insight on WHO we are. Great topic

Another Dan Do you recall, only cause it was him and back in the day was a big deal, was it a stockpile interpretation? Ya know, do not look to the right or to the left but keep your eyes steadfast upon me? Since I have heard others -outside TWI- I must say some of it is really moving. One I heard years ago was just plain off (pentecostal) But was the one you heard different- or stockplie? Just curious -

False Prophet or Good Minister with problems?
Dot Matrix replied to now I see's topic in About The Way
Look at the above here he connects he teacing is GOD's (teaching) So if God gave him the enablements, and I have a question, I am challanging GOD AND I am stupid Oh, and so many people here still think he did not LEAD us into "cult like" lemming thinking -- Pretty obviously he did, and this is just ONE of his little ole teachings.... Just like the twisting, making people afraid to leave TWI, because then we are living outside the will of GOD If I question VP, I am stupid afterall he gets his stuff from God, so if I do not think it is right -- I am going against God and his special enabled teacher... -
False Prophet or Good Minister with problems?
Dot Matrix replied to now I see's topic in About The Way
Thanks WW for your posts. I was not born into great wealth but my Dad's friends were. Their kids and I would ski together and hangout at the parties. ALL of THEM went to private schools and then on to expensive top of the line colleges. Their high school graduation gifts were things like Porsches. One girl and I have stayed friendly. She graduated from the best schools and married a cardiologist. She got a great start on life. In all of those parties, and with all the wealthy people I met, the rich gave their children a great start in life with a GREAT education. VP's life does NOT fit with what I have known. So, if he told us he was a hard-working farm kid, then he was not VERY WEALTHY, or his very wealthy family was very different than the ones I knew/know I also thought I heard him say in the early 70's he was born into a hard working farm family. I did not know about the two teaching styles other than "preaching" was always different than "teaching". So, even in this post, by his own words: THE SEVEN CHARACTERISTICS OF A FAITHFUL MINISTER we can see contradictions, exaggerations and/or lies. -

False Prophet or Good Minister with problems?
Dot Matrix replied to now I see's topic in About The Way
IMHO If his family WAS VERY WEALTHY and he had opportunities available to him, and made a choice to be a minister, when other lucrative avenues were available, then maybe he did NOT start out evil but became corrupt. Because he could have been a lawyer, or a shrink or anything that made money. He could have gone into politics which would have given him power, maybe becoming a minister was a noble desire, maybe becoming a poor minister is what broke him. Giving up the rich life for the Lord then becoming poor.... Then, imho, he was just very weak, easily led away from God to his own lusts and perversions. If he had MANY choices, then I do not think he was evil from the concept of his ministry but rather fell. That is of course, if he was VERY WEALTHY I had thought, and seen argued here, that there were not many opportunities for a young man so he became a minister, kinda like a thing to do rather than a choice among many other great choices that would have been available to the VERY WEALTHY. I never read he was a VERY WEALTHY farm boy. Now, if that was not true, if he was not VERY WEALTHY, then it adds to my vision of him as a liar, and I believe it is another brick in the lie and he started evil to lure people into his "money" snare and perversions. I just find this interesting. Again, IMHO Edited for clarity -

I can understand becoming wealthy AFTER you sell the farm, but most farmers are not VERY WEALTHY. It just caught my attention. Okay, so his Dad sent him to the school of the church denomination of which they belonged... -
False Prophet or Good Minister with problems?
Dot Matrix replied to now I see's topic in About The Way
Ham Do you know if they paid for his masters or was that a tongue in cheek remark? The one thing I know, about the VERY wealthy my father was friendly with, they all put education high on the things they did for their children. The BEST schools, the best start in life to make it. To be VERY WEALTHY and have a hog farmer and furniture maker and preacher as kids does not fit. I am not saying it cannot not be correct, or these are not worthy professions, these are just not what I have seen the VERY WEALTHY have their children do-- Now, if he owned a hog farm and sat around while others did the work, that might fit with VERY WEALTHY OR if VP went to Harvard or something, that would fit with VERY WEALTHY
