George: I truly am not as serious about all these as perhaps you think I am. I did see Signs and it did pose the possibility of ET and UFO's. I had not even considered them beyond devil, devil and devil. So, I asked what people thought. I am not really out looking for new beliefs. I still do not know how I feel about all this but at least I have the freedom to think about it now. Therefore, I am thinking about it. Sold to it? No. In hot pursuit of new cults, not at all. In script writing there is a little thing we do when we wrote fiction it is called "suspension of disbelief" In order to get people into the story you have to get them to suspend their disbelief. Such as the movie ET, Somewhere in Time, Kate and Leopold, Bill and Ted's Great Adventure and many more. You would not be able to enjoy this type of movie if you did not suspend your disbelief while watching it. Some people can't do that so these types of movies are not for them. But this thread is kinda of that ilk.... What if..... So, I am not suggesting you open yourself up to insanity. We are kinda playing here. I am suggesting you loosen up a bit, suspend your disbelief for a minute, and look at these things differently. But if you are afraid you may immediately slide down a slippery path to cultism then this thread is probably one you should avoid. If you are just doing your sniff test, go ahead it is really a stupid notion that there are aliens. (but, could be...) If you are concerned that I am going to start reading tarot cards and plotting my future, FEAR NOT!!! My good man, I have no interest and do believe that is devilish! Glad your cat bounced back! And all the talk of risk being at a minimum maybe VERY true. But there have been people who have had strange sid effects from the fillings. They had the fillings removed and became healthy again. Hard to argue with that. I have such BAD headaches I am into a quest. A person I know has seizures with no reason. I just can not believe there is no reason. Yes, we have been to countless Doctors. I stumbled across this info on fillings and wonder if it may be the cause.... I am ready to check into everything. The Brooklyn Bridge Abduction The subject of Budd Hopkin's third book Witnessed I believe these and similar cases that have multiply witnesses - are part of awakening humanity to events beyond the third dimension. The Brooklyn Bridge Abduction took place in lower Manhattan - just adjacent to the Brooklyn Bridge and East River. The time of the sightings was approximately 3:15 in the morning in November 1989. Hopkins says that the sighting lasted between one and two minutes. During that time cars went dead of the FDR drive - along side the East River. He says that a total of 4 people were abducted that night. Witnesses saw a UFO over her building. It had a red glow. Beams of white light came down from the UFO. Beings were seen moving through her window to the ship. Linda Cortile [aka Linda Napolitano, her "assumed name for reasons of anonymity" - presumably the time for anonymity has passed - BK], is the "abductee" in this case. Our fourteenth slide is of her apartment building. Linda Cortile came to Hopkins in 1989 after reading his book Intruders in which there was a chapter about a surgical scar. Linda was upset by this because her doctor discovered she had a surgical scar in her nostril yet she had never had a medical operation. She wrote to Hopkins. She had actually saved the receipt from that doctor's appointment. Why? Hopkins wondered. The fifteenth slide was of the view through her window. During their early meetings Linda had been talking to Hopkins about "early memories" but on the 30th of November 1989 she rang Hopkins after an "incident." As she was going to sleep she had felt a 'presence' and paralysis creeping over her and she saw a small black-eyed figure. She threw something at him and her arms were paralyzed as a result. Her next memory was of being on an "examination table." Question - what had been "blocked" by/from her memory? She had floated through a closed window and was lifted into a "craft." At the end of the "abduction" she was dropped onto her bed. She got up then and found she could not rouse her children. She thought that they weren't breathing. Her husband and children seemed to be switched off. Later witness would come forward. Many people reported seeing the same ship including a car with two federal agents and a UN official. Fifteen months later policemen revealed that they had seen the abduction take place. They had seen a women or small child floating in the fetal position through the window. There were small figures there - one above her and two below (Linda had never seen them). The policemen were Richard and Dan and they exchanged letters with Hopkins and he also received a letter from another witness. Apparently the lights on the roadway went out and the witness' car stopped on Brooklyn Bridge. The drawing was of a saucer that she saw. Another witness lost one hour on their car clock. Slide number seventeen is an additional drawing of balls coming out the window of the saucer. Number eighteen shows the balls unrolled to reveal three aliens and a woman in the same formation as described by Richard and Dan. Number nineteen is a drawing of another police officer. The saucer is similar apart from a dome on the top of it. Number twenty shows the Richard/Dan drawing showing the same position of Linda and the aliens. Number twenty-one shows that the 'other' police officer's drawing matches -the 'other' cop came forward after Witnessedcame out. Linda's niece who is a surgeon took an X-Ray of Linda's nostrils. An object was found. It appears to be a shank and two spirals. It is in her right nostril. The night, after the X-Ray had been done, blood came streaming out of Linda's nostril and when she was X-Rayed again the object was no longer there. It had been taken by the aliens during the night! There was a separate incident of Linda's right nostril bleeding. And this time not only did she bleed, but both her sons and their father and her son's friend, all from the right nostril at the same time on the same night. There was a procession of cars stopped on the Bridge. Important political figures were there. Pope John Paul II was meeting Mikhail Gorbachev that night and Gorbachev was meeting George Bush the next day. There was a full strike in Czechoslovakia. An important moment in world history. So, on the Bridge were these five cars of political figures. The engines stopped and they all saw Linda's abduction. Was this staged? Hopkins asks. All previous abductions were covert. As for these political figures, Hopkins says that "one of them was abducted that night" [He means Secretary General of the UN, Peres de Cuellar, I don't know why he didn't say his name during the lecture - maybe he wants us to buy his book in order for us to find out - BK]. Could the explanation for this be that it is a hoax? Hopkins asks. Like the Travis Walton case where there were roughly ten people involved, in this case there were a great number of people. TRAVIS WALTON On Wednesday, November 5, 1975, seven men in Michael H. Rogers' brush-clearing crew were going home after a day's work in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Snowflake, Arizona. Suddenly they saw a light in the forest that seemed to come from an object hovering close to the ground. They stopped to investigate, and one of the men, 22-year-old Travis Walton, got out of the truck and went on foot to get a closer look. A bolt of intense blue-green light struck him, and his companions panicked and drove away. After a few minutes, they went back to look for Walton, only to find that he had vanished. They drove into town and reported the disappearance to the authorities, and a search of the area was undertaken. No trace of Walton was found. When he awakens, Travis finds himself in a very strange seamless metallic room. He is in great pain, and notices that he is not alone. He tries to fend them off as they apparently attempt to calm him. They finally leave, quietly. The image of the eyes of the beings became burned into Travis's memory. An odd silent man with transparent helmet appears in the doorway of the fantastic "planetarium" Travis had discovered as he explored the craft. The man silently escorts Travis down the hall.. After a few minutes, they leave the craft and enter what appears to be a huge mothership (although there was never a chance to see outside). Several other craft were parked inside the room. The shape of the room hints that this might be a cylindrically shaped craft (as is commonly reported by others). Travis is immediately led down a hall to a room where this couple are found. They never speak, as with the first man. Their skin is strangely wrinkle and blemish free, and their eyes are odd in some way. They don't seem to be human as we know them. The mask held by the woman is used to put Travis into a state of unconsciousness. The authorities were suspicious that the crew had killed Walton themselves, but Walton reappeared five days later near Heber, Arizona, telling a tale of being abducted by aliens. Dot Matrix

Okay Rascal, One of these days I may take you up on the meet the neighbor thing. You are in Tennessee andI am in Georgia. While there I can groom your dogs. I left being a paralegal to become a dog groomer. What if they are not from another planet but another dimension, same planet? Or what if they are US in the future coming back to prevent something that was to happen? (Like the Terminater movies) There was a book, can not recall the title where the aliens were to gods of yesteryear. Fire in the Sky was about these four guys that go camping or maybe they were logging (forget, awhile ago) Anyway they saw a space ship and a beam of light. The one guy got out of the pick up they were in, I think his name was Travis, and walked to the light. All of a sudden the light pulled him and he was missing for four or more days. The remaining guys told the police what happened. The police thought it to be a bull story and held the men for Travis's dissappearence. Then, Travis returns naked on the side of the road. He swears he had been abducted and they did experiments on him. They ran polygraphs on these guys and they passed. You can probably rent the video and watch it with your neighbor. Sudo: Thanks, lots to consider! Kay: I get all four of the migrains which include cluster, on one side, and whatever else the neurologist said. Imitrex wasn't great for me, but Zomig was/is. I still take about 5 asprin when I feel them coming on and it can help if it is the first stage. I have had very serious problems with these darn things. I hated to ever tell anyone cause TWI told me they were spiritual. Therefore, I used to hide the fact that I was ill. (Not very well, mind you) Dot Matrix

Thanks Adios and EX Your reaction GTea was normal and helpful back when I posted. It was so normal it was in complete contrast to Rev. Splinter's. Example: If you had two sons, and they ran into you and one had blood all over him, his nose was broken, his eye blackened and he was limping. This bloodied son tells you that your other son did this to him. What is the normal reaction? You would say to the son in pain, "Oh, my God let me help you." You would try to stop the bleeding then put ice on his eye and check his leg for swelling. Probably, after you got some life saving measures going, you would say to the one responsible something like, "What did you do? You are to NEVER hit your brother, let alone leave him in this shape! You will be punished." But the same (figuritive) thing happens except this time the mother reacts as follows: The beaten son approaches her. The mother turns to him as the boy says his brother beat him. The mother is fuming! She turns to the beaten son, before any first aid is administered, she says, "Have you forgiven your brother?" Beaten son, "I don't want to talk to him right now, I am bleeding and can hardly stand." Mother, "If it wasn't for your brother you would not even be able to wipe your a$$. Now, you forgive him! And do not come to me with anymore tales you are causing division in the family!" Then the mother begins to quote things to her bleeding boy, the tongue is a posion it says so in the Bible, how dare you talk about your brother I do not care what happened we will not stand for gossip in this house. You gossiper, let me show you in the Bible where you made your mistakes..." The second mother was similar IMO, to the logic Rev. Splinter had. The logic and love in the first mother was the way I was treated by John Juedes and the GS posters. It once again became clear to me -- the insanity TWI weaved into our lives!!! And the NORMAL way someone should respond. I was NEVER again going to accept the second mother as my family, so to speak. But people have to see this stuff on their own. God help them. If CFF can ordain someone that speaks the way Rev. Splinter did then I think people may want to excercise caution. Now, if Jeffrey Dahmer was a Lutheran it does not mean all Lutherans are bad. However: If you are recognizing someone as having a gift ministry and they are the example of what you are all about and they contact someone (me) FIRST and their second e-mail is reproof and put downs "you could not wipe your a$$ if not for PFAL", then I would have to say the group is probably infected. Funny, but had he have written to me with real love and kindness, I may have even checked out his organization -- but it was like having WAY flashbacks of attacks, legalism, unkindness, robotic bs. That is my opinion. I am glad R Geek feels good about going. HE is very intelligent. Perhaps they have not treated him the way I feel I was treated. What everyone needs to realize when we/you/they are dealing with people who have been hurt and deceived by a church the hurt, confusion and healing is very different than that of betrayal with no God affiliation. The hurt and deception by a GOD organization cuts deeper and it takes an incredible amount of love and kindness to relate to those kinds of injured people. There are folks that were so hurt they completely wrote God off. Knowing that those kinds of people come to this website seeking something -- validation, proof we really were in an evil cult, it wasn't all a dream, it wasn't just me was it? Knowing these kinds of people are here, if you choose to contact someone and invite them to a fellowship, or represent an organization, or at minmum sign your letters Rev. N--- (Splinter), then you should be at least kind. AT LEAST KIND. Whatever we seek, it is coming from a different level of betrayal. We are good people who tricked because we tried to love God. It is painful when a spouse turns out to be a creep. It is hurtful when our parents let us down. It is shocking and frightening when we are victims of crime. But when all these pains afflict us we turned to God for answers and healing. So, we came broken to "our last hope" (many of us) and we brought our pain and a last bit of hope and laid it before God via TWI. They used our brokenness to take more out of us. While they took our last buck, called us names, sucked our joy out of us they did it with a big smile in the name of God. Heck, when my x-spouse cheated it HURT but he did it to satisfy some urge he had -- God had nothing to do with it. God was not even mentioned. It was betrayal but it did not come close to the betrayal made by people supposedly "speaking for God." Knowing this,we are a group that have been hurt, Rev. Splinter saw a post I made on GS about how I loved the old days and my hometown, etc. He contacted me to tell me the word was still moving in that town like crazy. I thought he as a GS person, an outie, someone that knew VPW had penis problems.... I had a small spark of hope that some how the sweetness of the old twigs survived back in my hometown! I thought he maybe someone I knew or knew my old friends.... I wrote him, something like, what a shame it is that VPW turned out to be a sex pervert. And something along the lines of I hoped he was for real and not apart of JAL group cause I found his group to be lacking then sited some things back when I was checking into JAL. Rev. Splinter then wrote about ten scriptures and what I perceive to be nasty toned comments. HE pretty much told me I should not have made those comments and I need to forgive VPW, but all the while there was no kindness. I felt like I had stuck my hand in a cage at the pound, I was ready to give this poor dog a chance and he bit me. Even John Juedes on his site, he is not a splinter but a real minister, when I first contacted him he treated me with such love and tenderness. I would open up a little and he did not flinch but rather reached his heart into my life so sweetly, I was able to speak of VPW trying to have sex with me, and I told him no. My response to VPW killed my corps career. I was defamed, defeated, shunned and emotionally slaughtered. That man, John Juedes, told me x-cult members have to be handled with extreme care, as if the box is marked breakable. Because of his kindness, I looked for a healthy church. It was so hard to even try to do such a thing. But his mercy and kindness to a total stranger helped me begin to repair. The EXACT opposite was what I felt I got from Rev. Splinter. Therefore, I would never go to fellowship with that kind of haughty know-it-all robotic minister AND I would be highly suspect of anyone who ordained him. Maybe some of you were bolder, less hurt, more ready to try again, now strong enough to walk away and still maintain self, I was not there yet. This minister, Rev. Splinter, almost undid the things John Juedes was helping me regain. I was able to respond once, I felt like Samson rising up, but then he e-mailed another nasty note. I was just going to say the he!! with posting on GS, the heck with trying to find old TWI friends, screw church. (NOT screw God, I had been loving him in my life without organized church and old TWI contacts) Then, I found my voice and I answered Rev. Splinter with the guts I had years before TWI ever happened in my life. Do you know how I found my voice? It was Ginger Tea, Satori, GOE, Mstar, Kelvar, Ex10, Ahat, Rascal, Grizz, Zshot, Hope R, Highway 29, Shaz, ET1, socks, midnight, out and about, Josey, Longgone, Steve and the rest of the people that got on the site and held me up when I almost withdrew from contact with other believers and old friends. YOU folks were what gave me encouragement and love. THE MINISTER SPLINTER only proved to me that the WAY sickness was prevalent in every splinter I have ever investigated or merely casually learned of. So, make up your own minds kids. But if I were looking for a place to go I might check out John Juedes before I checked out any splinters. I have never met (via internet) a kinder man of the cloth. I do not care to report anyone to anything. I have had my fill of reporting people in TWI to no avail. I did not even want to participate in any conversation with Rev. Splinter to begin with. I thought he was an outie. I thought he either knew people I knew or was someone I knew as he was in my hometown. He e-mailed me about how the town was still moving the Bible there. I e-mailed him and spoke freely about VPW's crap and another person's crap. Then, I got a lecture on forgiveness and how I could not wipe my ***. I responded then asked him to NOT contact me anymore but he did. I responded. Then, eventually I just ignored him. I do not want to involve myself with any splinter in anyway even to tell them I think one of their people was rude. Do you think these people are logical? It is a waste of time. It only came up again as Ex found some connection between the Splinter Rev. and the Splinter group. If people want to exalt VPW to the sky, praise PFAL and wipe each other's a$$es with the books I do not care. But I think seeing some of the verbal exchange might help people SEE some of these splinter groups for the mini-Ways they are. But apparently, it can also turn people on to these groups. If what you read tickles anyone's fancy -- go enjoy yourself. If some people are looking for that, go for it. I think it is a waste of perfectly good brain cells. That is it. Rev. Splinter enjoy your life. All his followers may God protect you, all supporters of splinters -- I hope you can survive another cult. Mercury in your teeth can cause all kinds of problems including something that mimics multiple sclerosis. i mention this as I have read about several people with different health problems and this Mecury stuff is serious! Kay: You mention fish, but from what I have learmed it is not inspected like beef or chicken. I saw on one of those information shows that a lot of fish comes in with worms and the stores just rinse them off. Then, the mecury in canned tuna is unhealthy.... The stores have been changing the sell by date on their meat products making people sick on and on it goes... I get to the point where I do not know what to do.... Also, I found this article on fillings in teeth which can cause a litney of medical problems I will post that as a new topic... My father-in-law has kidney cancer. He NEVER drinks water. Even when told to drink a full glass of water with a pill, he will take one small sip or use another liquid. Now, he has cancer in his kidneys. He still fights when told to drink water and will not change his diet. Masterherb:If you were to write out a balanced diet, what would it be?
