Now knowing ALL we know happened in TWI I am surprised CF&S did not have "workshops" after class. Where they "paired" us up. LOL! Life is too short for bad coffee! Dot Matrix

White Dove: LOL That is fair. I do not recall him saying the vagina was ugly either. I recall it being said that women probably have not even seen themselves. At the class, I got up to go to the bathroom at break and someone handed me a mirror. But I do think it was a BAD class over all. I think it was inappropriate for him to go through all the slang terms in a CHRISTAIN CLASS. I do wonder the purpose of that kind of class to young adults who already took health in high school. See no seasonings. It is America, you can share without being on the "menu". We can disagree without death. I do not think anyone is making up untruths. You even had to go check your books, dear Dove. It maybe more of the years have gone by and memories fade, or perhaps they DO recall something being said that you did not have in your notes. As far as perhaps having sympathy for VPW which maybe a little of what you are feeling (I might be wrong) I never liked the song "Sympathy for the Devil" and I do not have any for VPW or Craig. If that makes me bad - then I am bad. This is America, you may be a kinder and more gentle soul. You may be more advanced in forgiveness than I or others may be. And it is OKAY! It is okay to be "you" and express your opinions. It is okay for all of us to express ourselves. It is okay. If anyone forgot what was actually said, it is okay and easy to forgive. If it bothers you that there are some misquotes - its okay. It is okay to disagree. But we are all in agreement the class was stupid and should have been done more appropriately - perhaps by having a male and female class seperately. After 20+ years I heard a woman can be referred to as a "pear" (the shape of the uterus?) And being as it was masterbation someone (x-TWI) said Eve was using a stick in her pear.... Made more sense to me than the big empty nothing I used to get for the remark. Now, maybe that Xwafer was searching for meaning herself. But now that you said "pair" maybe that is what he meant. Vp said the original wasn't the apple in the tree but the pear on the ground. I am now just old enough to know what he meant. Then, the thing about the "dirt road" - I do not remember. Probably because I didn't get that either. I took the class more than once, maybe three times. I NEVER understood how VP got "masterbation" from scripture. I found that class to be in poor taste. Now, looking back, it was about old horny men having a great time at the expense of young believers. Why did he think he needed to teach such smut to young adults? We already learned about it in school or with our own experiences. It was inappropriate. Never understood the masterbation stuff, but then I never understood "corps night" I used to sit there like I was in a foreign country unfamilar with the language. I still thnk VP used our "birth to the corps" papers as "beat-off material." (Some had some racey things written in it.) In CF&S, I bet VP watched us through a little peep hole, through which he peeked and played "yankee doodle" on his dandy. Snicker By the way, speaking of "a little hole" that was what lead to the fall of the ministry. Chortle I'm sorry, I just caught my funbag on the keyboard, forgive my crudeness. I read your story and I do not know which part affected me most. The Wow story with the town throwing ROCKS at you! Your highlander leader more interested in hurting people than helping them.... The fact that they MA'd you and your marraige fell apart... WOW! Just WOW! Thank you for sharing. I have enjoyed your posts but now have a greater understanding of your personal story. It was so weird Guys, the dream I had concluded with if I wanted to contact him I needed to do it quickly. So I acted on it by this thread. You guys got me to him. THANK YOU! I thought perhaps the reason I was inspired to move quickly was because someone said they were moving. I got a letter back from him which meant the world to me. I was thinking of all kinds of things to jot back to him, then I heard he died. I am so thankful for you wonderful people leading me to him, again. Thank you. Dot Matrix

I don't mind if other believers read this and can look for him. If he is still there he must really need some help. I do not recall exactly as it was our only visit there. We were told do not go past this street and that. And he was there. We were at the Howard Johnson's downtown I believe. It was not far from there. Gosh, I hope he got help. He told me he might go back to live with his mother. Maybe he did. Do you know where he was from? Broke my heart in half! My husband and I took food to the homless guy who lived in a bush near our bank and things like that, but I never had it become SO PERSONAL as what happened that day. Do you mean P...l Hurl.....t? It is a sad story. He was in California. We left the ministry. Shortly there after, Paul disappeared for a little bit and got into drugs. (He was a branch leader in San Diego.) So, a year goes by. I go on a weekend to San Francisco. I was inspired to take extra money that afternoon, and the concierge told us NOT to go in a certain part of town but before you know it we were in that part of the city. Two homeless men were having a knife fight and we turned to leave.... This voice from a dirty man sitting on the street "Dot, how are you Dot?" I said "Paul is that you?" "Yes" "What happened?" He told me his life of the past two years. I pulled out my extra money for him. He was dirty and all he owned was in a small plastic bag with a plastic lime (juice) and some change in it. He lived on the street. I died for him. I grabbed him and gave him a hug. I told him that God still loved him. I gave him my card and asked him to call me collect and I would set up a job for him. He said if he could get a break he would take it. We flew home and I got things ready to get him in a fast food restaurant of the corporate hqs. where I worked. They were going to put him in as a manager trainee and we were setting up housing for him. He never called. What I liked MOST about the corps was cutting classes and trying not to get caught. One sunday I asked I had Fran L to do manifestations for me if I was called on, and ditched Sunday Night service -- the only place they did not take roll!
