Vickles back on around page ten you said When I first read that, I thought you meant you were so repulsed by them you made a decison NOT to do anything with them again. YOU meant that they would not have anything to do with you. They announced to the world you had devils after you went to get "help" for that girl that the bc was abusing. THAT is so similar to what happened to me... I did the right thing to stop evil and to help those caught in the snare to recover. I went to the next level to get them help -- but how would any of us know that MOST of these guys were all in on it? So, you were tossed from the corps because you were honorable and thought VP abusing people in the corps was NOT something you wanted in your life. No RV trips for you! AND when you went to help the girl being abused by the bc you were black balled and everyone was told you had demons! Shoot, we could be dang near twins in dealing with that stuff. It was very very rough. In part, that is why I can understand people here who do not believe us -- but when they say things like you are a liar and speak for the devil, or I was told I am in hell and he is who I worship or something -- it is VERY spiritual the blind would use similar words that defeated me to a pulp in the past. Words of the inner-circle police. I praise God for the folks who tell it like it is and fight for us when we get a punch. I will not let anyone say I speak for the devil because I am exposing what happened again. That happened before and nearly killed me... I told the truth and was assassinated because of it. Vic- it feel s good to say what happened and be heard doesn't it? People do not have to immediately embrace all the dark things brought forth as truth. But after YEARS they might just consider it a little... However, to be told you have devils or speak for the devil - ain't going to let it go again.... Rereading your post got me going as I can really feel what you felt. -
Gross, huh?

I love this example she makes: I think this maybe something to keep in mind before yelling "move on" "get over it" "you were complicit" as has been tossed on other threads in the past. -

WOW EXXIE! Thanks Here is a part of what Wendy wrote: Pointers (that family and friends can do to help the cult member recover) Here are a few pointers which can help families provide a nurturing environment that simultaneously encourages independence: Recognize that recovery can take years. Some damage may be irreparable. Understand, accept, and grieve your own lost time and lost experiences with loved ones. Don't be confrontational. Give the loved one time to let go of his or her loyalty to the group and its leaders and to acknowledge the deception. Do not try to overprotect or control the loved one. Learn to negotiate. Forgive your loved one for the pain he caused you while in the cult, and tell him that you forgive him. Encourage independent decision-making. Recognize the loved one may need financial support during recovery, but that financial and emotional independence should be encouraged. Accept and respect the accomplishments the loved one made while in the cult. Understand the loved one's often intense aversion to authority figures. Accept the Changes It's hard when a friend or family member who was close to you now is physically and emotionally distant. He is alone with his pain and you can't reach him. It can help to realize that like a veteran returning from a war, he has been somewhere you have not been, exposed to horrors of a trauma you can only imagine. For all your years of experience, you have not been in his war. You did not lose the time, friends, and dreams that he lost. But you still lost something. Recognize that recovery can take years. Some damage may be irreparable -

Now for the Ramones! 7-11 - Ramones I met her at the 7-11 Now I'm in 7th heaven Tell me, tell me Can this be true I never though I'd ever meet a girl like you She was standing by the Space Invaders So I said can I see you later Yeah we went for a little spin Down to the Holiday Inn We was young and in love We was young and in love And you're the only girl I'm ever thinking of We went down to the record swap The kids were dancing to the blitzkrieg bop Bop-shoo-wop shoo-wop shoo-wop Bop-shoo-wop shoo-wop shoo-wop What ever happend to the radio And where did all the fun songs go Summer fun, with the Beach Boys on But we all know what went wrong Oh-wo-wo We was young and in love We was young and in love And you're the only girl I'm ever dreaming of And we went down to the dance Which turned into a whole romance And after just one night I never knew that things could be so right Oh-no-no-no-no-no-no-no I kissed her and hugged her And I said good-bye Last thing I knew She wouldn't make it alive Oncoming car went out of control It crushed my baby And it crushed my soul Now all I've got is sorrow and pain Standing out here in the rain The crash, shattering glass The sirens, and pain Is driving me insane oh-yeah We was young and in love We was young and in love And you're the only girl I'm ever thinking of Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Is shannon a dog? They talk about a shady tree? "Shannon" By Henry Gross "Another day is at end Mama says she's tired again No one can even begin to tell her I hardly know what to say But maybe it's better that way If Papa were here I'm sure he'd tell her Shannon is gone I heard she's drifted out to sea She always loved to swim away Maybe she'll find an island With a shady tree Just like the one in our backyard Mama tries hard to pretend That things will get better again Somehow she's keeping it all inside her But finally the tears fill our eyes And I know that somewhere tonight She knows how much we really miss her Shannon is gone I heard she's drifted out to sea She always loved to swim away Maybe she'll find an island With a shady tree Just like the one in our backyard"

Dig It Up - Hoodoo Gurus Dave Faulkner My girlfriend lives in the ground. My friends ask why she's not around, She won't come home. I'm so alone (you'll never know!). You can't bury love, You've gotta dig it up. Yeah, you've gotta live it up. I take her flowers each day. I place them over her grave. I want her back Because I look so bad, so bad in black (Like a maniac) You can't bury love, You've gotta dig it up, Yeah, you've gotta live it up. Please, darling, come home to me. Well, I'll make you so happy, you will see! I'll paint your room In pink and blue (I'll even choose the colour scheme for you!). You can't take away my love I'll never give it up! Yeah, I'm gonna dig it up. (Don't!) (Don't! I Don't want to know!) My girlfriend lives in the ground. My friends, you ask me why she's six feet down, I can't tell you why 'cos if I even try I'd fall down flat on my face And I'd cry, "You can't take away my love!" I'm gonna dig it up! I'm gonna live it up, yeah, I'm gonna dig it up, dig it up. I'm never gonna stop With that loving cup. Gotta fill it up.
