Gosh Early I like Mrs. W and do not think she was spurring on the movement to hurt people. I see her as a victim, not a "saint" (in the way the catholics think) but not a horror deserving what you described. However, you are entitled to your opinion. Lord knows I have contempt for Vic and some people defend him. I agree with Diazbro. Dorothy Thompson: Fear grows in darkness; if you think there's a bogeyman around, turn on the light.

We did not talk about Revelations much in TWI. They had their head in the epistles. When I would ask they said "the mark of the beast" or "we would not be able to sell without the mark of the beast." Okay.....????? What does that mean? Looking at some other groups, some think it is all computer related. We will have a "chip" in us like they currently do for pets... Gee that could be in our lifetime. Or they think it is bar code related - again computers. But I keep thinking about it being computer related because I am looking for another job situation and most places want you to apply on line. I do not look good on just a piece of paper. I fair better by walking in to a place or knowing someone. But even in places where you have to apply on line, it doesn't matter who you know. (As the application flys off to some other location in some state somewhere.) I know we can get into scripture, but I do not think it is only a doctrinal issue as I want to also know if you all are seeing the "signs" of 666 - the mark of the beast. So, I stuck the question here. I don't just want quotes of revelations. But with your knowledge of things, the church you currently belong to, or the fact that you do not believe in the Bible, do you see us moving toward the "Mark of the beast?" Do you think it is the computer systems? I do. Dorothy Thompson: Fear grows in darkness; if you think there's a bogeyman around, turn on the light.

Mike you said "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." I agree. But that is where it ends for your hub of knowledge is the all knowing cult master and mine is God. Even Weiwille acknowledged it was not from reading "Time magazine". This verse does not mean the colateral materials written by a farm pevert. Life is not suppose to dangle at the end of a man's folly. Or by every word that came out of Weirwille's mouth! "The blue book says, the green book says, the orange book says...." Cory I recall on TV or in Guidepost, A little girl wanted to see or write to John Wayne. Cannot recall all the steps. But she wrote back to John Wayne and told him she did not want him to pas without knowing Jesus because she loved him (John Wayne) and wanted to be in heaven with him. So, this kid witnessed to him. And when JW read the note he cried and did believe. Gosh, I wish I could recall which media I heard that through... Good topic Pat! What I have found is the quiet time I give to God and the prayer I have with him has helped me to love him with all my heart. I sing to him as well. I invite him into the steps I take during the day. One day, I was trying to think of the person who has been the best friend I have ever had.... It all went back to God. He has been there when I was MAD at him. He was there when I did not glorify him, he has been there when I cried, when I was sick or broke. I realized he was my best friend. I tell him that all the time. And when I am seduced into thinking of doing something questionable -- I remember it would not glorify God so I try and think of what would bring glory him? I mean like stupid things, at the market when it is raining and I do not want to put my cart in the proper place. I really want to leave it "there". I think of the car it may roll into or the person who would be able to park there if not for the cart I left... Then, I think what would Jesus do? And I walk the dang cart back. Once, I brought home my groceries and realized they did not charge me for my coffee. I drove back and tried to pay for it. It threw the cashier into "weirdness" she called over the manager. They said, "You want to pay for something that is not here?" Then, they told me it made them feel good about humanity. I told them to keep it and not pay for it would not have been right. Stuff like that. It can be larger things as well, like turning the light on the darkness so that others may see. That includes turning the light on myself Why? What is going on in your heart and your life? I am interested. There are many days I feel like I have not had my best day nor have I done my best to keep God first. Like when I am under stress I do like a good four letter word and I KNOW that cannot bring God glory. I dunno Pat. That is a huge question and as I answer it, I feel very small in my attempts to do the first commandment. I fall short.
