John M Knapp LMSW

John M. Knapp, LMSW, executive director of the Center for Healing Spiritual & Cultic Abuse, is a licensed therapist, specializing in healing spiritual trauma for 16 years. He is a 23-year survivor of a toxic group. He has worked with over 2,000 individuals from a wide range of groups, churches, and cults. He founded Trancenet.net (which included No Way Out and Trancechat, two of the first web resources on TWI), TM-Free Blog, and the Margaret Singer Foundation (no longer operating).
