Lets not even compare VPW and Billy Graham. VPW twisted evrything for his reasons and personal gain. Billy Graham is a true man of God. He not only talks the talk he truly walks the walk. If I gave every last cent I had to BG I know that it would go to further the Kingdom of God. If I gave it to the Way I would only get a comment of why not more, and then it would go to make someone else richer.

First of all I'm not a catholic. I have met many christians who are catholic. So are we bashing the church or the people. When I give to my local church I'm giving the money to God. Not the local, state, or national organizations. Now lets say that there are some people out there who have problems. Some of those people go a path where they are exposed to young children. these people are preditors that need to be taken care of. Personally I think giving the to the community would be a good think. The catholic church is reacting as a family would to protect its own. I think that many of those who are saying molestation are just going for the money. Thats my opionion and I'm sticking to it.

WG i understand. I was 16 at home listing to Linda Ronstant and singing "your no good your no good" and my mom walked around the corner and looked at me. Seems I was disturbing them and their visiters in the living room. OK Most embarising. I fell asleep at my desk in my office and my boss came in and woke me up.

When I first started going to twig fellowship and then took the class there were three things that kept me coming. 1. I had grown up in a dead church. Finding a place where the word was not dead was exciting. 2. The sweet fellowship. I was in college and most of the people were my own age and station in life. It was a great friendship experience. 3. I loved the girls and there were lots of them. What finally ran me off was the control. I have never be a person who handles being told very well. I am great at taking sugjestions.

Vickles. Go get a bid from a contractor and then go hunting for a new mortgage that totals what you oue plus the construction cost. This will vary by state but most mortgages allow for an addition with the bae house cost.

This gives new meaning to the saying "Kill them all and let God sort them out". They are just being good stewards. Even the american made AK runs under $400.00. A good AR-15 will run a grand.

Flat Stanley has not shown up yet. I've been watching.

Ya'll do realize that if any one famous took the class they would have wrote about it, talked about it, sent out tapes, made a documentery about it, make us tell everyone else about it. Of course there was one guy who took the class in November 1975 in Houston. ME. But I'm not sure if I'm infamous or just famous.

I was going through some of the archived topics and was going through a list of beliefs of TWI. I was shocked at how little my beliefs have changed in 26 years. I never did completly buy into the 4 crucified. I thought I had become a Trinitarian until I looked at exactly what I do believe. I'm stuck in the middle. I believe in SIT but not as twi proposed. I feel its more of a manifistation and not as controlable as we were taught. I find myself praying to God and not Jesus as many evangelicals do. So the question is have your beliefs changed since leaving?

Tom Strange hush your mouth. If any more people find out about the Hill Country we'll get pushed out.

I remember a radio program in Houston that had a girl from Houston that had been deprogrammed fron TWI.. I called in and used the word profitable and she ask me point blank if I was in. I don't remember much of the conversation other than that. It did happen and it was quite real.

Hey ex10 I just remembered the most favorite thing about Houston. POLUTION. But after driving through Monterey in Mexico, you don't have any polution.

What is all this talk about a snake problem. Seeum Killum. I really don't know what kind of snake it was. It had fangs and it was inside the shop. It was then dead. So what that it was only 15' from my office door. Please note that the shop at that location was air conditionied and heated. Besides I've never been biten by a snake. That brown recluse was another story. Killer bee's are a very real thing. Trust me.

WG your forgiven. I'm tired and frustrated and it comes out at times. Prayer goes a long way to fixin almost everything. #3 loves pizza. Frozen pizza is a problem because of the cooking mess. My rule is that if doesnt fit into the dishwasher don't use it.

ya know WG sometimes you just got to vent. For your info I'm 50 and don't have any interset in 20 yr olds, yes my wife fights depression and takes medications for it, the "change" as you put it came years back due to cancer, this is nothing new and I havn't run out and gotten a divorce, I came to an anonimuous chat room of people who have gone through some of the same things I did. Tell yall what. Lets just close this topic and I'll deal with this thing myself. As far as mee mee mee. I do all the cleaning cooking and stuff around the house so she can sit infront of her computer and play games or who knows shell move to the living room and watch movies all night long as the family walks on egg shells so we don't make any noise.

Don't worry they will manage to mess up everything by the end of the season. The last time they had a really good team was 1980. Corse I remember the good old days in Houston when the favorite bumper sticker in Houston was would the last person out of Michigan please turn out the lights. Seems every other license plate was from there. They was all huntin for jobs. Seems nobody was makin cars in the motor city anymore. They wanted them refinery jobs.

This is a notice to everyone that doesnt live in Texas. 1. It gets hotter than hell in the summer. German POW's from WWII stated that it was hotter than north africa. 2. It gets cold here. the river froze over here in the winter 89-90. It got down to 0 3 nights in a row. 3. When it rains. It rains a lot. Mother in law has been flooded out 3 times since 98. 4. When it doesnt rain. Well it doesnt rain for a long time. In 2000 it went 90 days with no measurable rain. The river flow was down to 15cfs and looked like a cess pool. And thats the water we drink. 5. The people here arn't friendly. We cant be. Own so many guns. 6. The only professional sports worth watching is the San Antonio Spurs. GO SPURS GO 7. Freeways are all clogged up with cars. Mainly those who have moved in from out of state. 8. Driving in the country is a drag. All the deer on the road. I only hit four since 98. Had to dodge two cars yesterday stopping to take pictures of the wild flowers. Don't worry once youve seen a field of blue bonnets youve seen a field of blue bonnets. 9. High school football is played here on friday nights and season tickets cost $25 each. Thats highway robery. So everyone remember that you don't want to move here. I say that mainly because I'm afraid I'll have to move again to get away from all of you. They added three traffic lights last year. Mainly for those blasted big city stores moving in.

I don't know how this is happing. I'm agreeing with oldies and he's from New York. But to be serious, this is a laugh. If you give you money freely to God then it is a act of worship. Their only grounds could be that they were forced to give more then what they wanted or they would have to leave. This case walks a fine line. Personally I turned my back on twi and never looked back. I miss some of the old friends. But I knew that leaving would mean leaving friends. That was there control over us. Personaly my belief is that when I give money to the church I'm giving it to God. If the church wastes it or throws it away its between them and God. The one thing I have learned over the years is that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He doesn't need the money. What happens is that as we sacrifice things by giving the money rather than spending it. We are placeing God first in our lives. TWI was right in the aspect of you can tell a lot about a person by how they spend their money.

I warsh my hands. I pronounce a lot of things adding an R. Thankyamuch. That got beat of of me by a boss I had in Houston. Spent 10 years there and it almost took the Texas out of me. I was getting my lunch in the lunch room and talking with the secrateries aand they found out that I was from Texas. They were shocked. Seems that most of the sales engineers they employed were hired in New York and they figured the same with me. I was greatly disturbed. Calling a Texan and accusing him of being from New York will start a fight quick.

Let me wade back in before this goes completly off the chart. The first thing I have to say is that I believe that God brought us together. I take the for better or worse sriously. I was praised by many by standing by her when she went through cancer. That was then and now is now. So let me ask you. Do you believe in God and what is said in the Bible. Jesus taught that divorce is of man and not intended by God. I believe that. I live in a small town and the wife does not want couceling because everyone will know in a short time. Her way of handling problems is to retreat from them and do somthing that is fun or diferant. She teachs nursing at a small university and has designed more charts and other things than you can imagine. She has gotten credit for reviewing a text book. Me, I own a small air conditioning company. Three sons. #1 is back home for the second time and is 22. Has a good job (makes more money than mom). #2 son is 19 and in colage studing to go into the ministry. #3 son is 13 and in the 7th grade. Would a breakup affect them. Hell yes. #1 would not mind. He has seen through his mom for years. #2 see's it but doesnt want to. We had an argument while in Mexico lasat year on a mission trip. #2 saw what I put up with and was devistated. He would have problems. #3 would be a basket case. So how important are your kids? I'd kill for mine. I have prayed about this more than you can imagine and what I get is to stay. Thats God's answer. So all of you here is my question? How much sufferring will you take if you feel its what God wants. Or are you weak like I am at times and just want to walk. If you think I'm under the law in this thats fine. Thats not how I see it. My wife knows of this forum and I have sent her some of the comical stuff. But this is generic and anonimus enough that I don't worry about her not saying her side. Her side is that she doesnt like to cook, can't handle the emotions of counciling, and thinks that I should just be happy. For all you chat room sex fiends the sex stopped two years ago. Hell we havn't had sex five times in the last 6 years. No sex on the 25th aniversery. Think bad of me but this is my way of releasing frustration. Its better than doing other things. And if you think this is my dirty laundry what is all this stuff we talk about. Its the dirt we left behind.

This is a subject that comes up in my mind every once in a while. As my mind reads the new testiment Jeus plainly states that divorce is not of God and gives a couple of reasons where it is OK. That is where I hit a road block. I am married because I don't see that I have an out. My wife is a believer and she hasn't cheated. I've ask/prayed about this so much I think That God may be tired of hearing me about this. So as a way of venting what is ya'lls idea of reasons for divorce. I still love my wife I just don't like her anymore. This weekend #2 son brought home is girl friend for us to meet. I cooked supper friday night(Blackbean soup with corn tortias). Saturady morning it was biscits, gravy, eggs, and bacon. Sturday evening I was lazy. Saugage on hotdog buns. Sunday after church to a local restaurant and then sunday evening BBQ, green bean caserol with mashed potatoes. In all of this I got no help in cooking or cleaning. The most I got was a shus so she could hear the TV. Yes she was trying to do some female bonding. BUT O well I'll quit writing before I blow up. Forgive my typos and spelling. MY MIND AND FINGERS ARNT WORKING

Jard thats nice. My espanol is muy picino. I love Mexico and would move there if I could figure a way to live. There are too many engineers there selling tacos because they can't find a job they are educated for.

I have a letter that my old minister wrote to my parents. He basicly stated that given time I would probably return to the church. He was right.

Jard Explain your name. Jardin is garden. ero?
