  1. Good eating is on the way. I was holding holiness in my hands as I kissed and then placed each precious tenderling in the ground. Yum, the plant even smells like a tomato. I had visions of tomato sandwiches dancing in my head. I gave thanks to Father God for each one. I know he truly loves me because He created tomatoes.
  2. Living here in the sunny south we take an extreme pride in growing tomatoes. It is a religion. Tomatoes are the number one home grown vegetable in the good ole USA. Tomatoes out of season where you live? Your only recourse is buying one in the grocery store? All of us know they do not taste the same as the home grown maters. Try this................ Select only ripe, red tomatoes. DO NOT refrigerate them. When I bring them home from the store I let them sit in my window sill for a couple of days. Peel off the skin. Slice and put in a collander. Sprinkle one side with kosher salt, turn over and sprinkle the other side. Let them sit and "sweat" in the collander for 10 to 30 minutes. There is something about the salt (they only need a tad) that brings out that delicious tomato flavor. It is not quite the same as home grown flavor but it is greatly enhanced. The same can be done for cucumbers. Ever had a bitter cucumber? This process will take out the bitterness.
  3. Hello Purple Days................If you knew Tom and Pam then you know me. Who you be? My most beloved times was when I lived in Greenville, NC.
  4. Tom was WOW in Cola., SC. He was from Minnesota....Duluth I think it was. Then after the WOW field, he, along with me and my husband moved to Greenville, NC to work a landscaping business for John Hendricks. Then we all moved to Charlotte. My husband and I moved to SC some time after that and lost touch with Tom. Pam lived in Cola. the same time we all did. Gosh, we had some wonderful times together.
  5. Philippians 1:15-18 makes no mention of Jesus.
  6. Hello....this one ain't hard to figger out. She thought she was marrying a man like dear ole dad. She was following the way she was raised. Remember he "broke up" with her because she would not have sex with him. He pursued. They married. Then he lost interest. The caveman mentality. Dost thou remember the story of Elvis and Priscilla? Same thing happened. Conquer and move on.
  7. It was so beautiful. And there are many aspects for me that are still awesomely beautiful. My dearest friends to this day are from that beautiful time. The woman that invited me to my first fellowship thirty years ago is to this day my closest friend. There are 4 others that was in our fellowship and we all still bonded together. It is the love for the Truth that has held us together.
  8. Thank you very much

  9. Julie White Perry are you out there? We were WOW sisters in 79-80 in Iowa. After the field she married Tim Perry. They were in Texas for a while then moved to Greenville, S. C. where my husband and I were living so we could all be together. She and Tim divorced, as did Terry and I. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.
