  2. Thanks Rumrunner(I see your point) Dave, best wishes to you in life,I am not a professional therapist so this is as far as I go. I will say however that a body runs on BLOOD "pure" blood not watered down or tainted blood without blood the body will die. I personally believe that the blood of Jesus Christ was a high price for human mankind and to abuse that as "teachers" sell "bible classes" that are OFF the real truth.is like selling artifical blood to a dying man in need of the TRUE life source. If it was a product on the market that caused harm,or and even for some death! It would be recalled. If this was a disease for the Center for Disease Control to inspect, they would consider it a Hot Zone. It is NOT a healthy place for anyone seeking Truth,it will slowly kill you spiritually if you don't get it out your system....sooner or later . Meanwhile you may as well be on an artifical respirator cause your NOT breathing on your own(unless you created AIR) and what is to say that plug supplying the air you breath can't be "pulled".
  3. just adding this to make a point. http://www.slide.com/r/oAZiDhfD5j905e_pqdS...p;view=original
  4. You said Dave "If you convince yourself that you were involved in this evil cult, then you therefore will take all of these steps to unbrainwash yourself, even though you were never brainwashed by TWI" I say If you DO NOT convince yourself that you were involved in this cult(denial)then you are STILL accepting the LIE taught to us by TWI(it is SPIT under the microscope of spiritual warfare) and you are still saying Oh WOW this is soooooooooooooo cool! Then therefore you will NEVER take any steps to heal and be FREE ,even though you were brainwashed by THe Way International Biblical Research and Teaching Ministry.(Doctrine)
  5. All my time in TWI I didn't think it was a cult either. When I got out I never talked about it until 10 yrs later then I could bring myself to say the word Cult. What you believe now is your choice but my warning is to those who get involved with something they really do NOT understand it all involves. TWI is and was very subtle,it was the message NOT the people I warn of. If you want the truth do not go to TWI for answers. Peace
  6. or If you don't see the devil walking in front of you maybe YOUR walking with him!!! Yikes Running with the devil song comes to mind!

    Halloween

My grandson is Buzz Lightyear. My other grandson is Superman. I am a Pumkin!
  8. Biblefan Dave you keep saying "Thus, it all comes back to the emotional reaction to have been involved in TWI" well it is partly that too ofcourse and Post Tramatic Stress Dissorder,if(IF) you can walk away from a cult like TWI and not have a problem in daily life after that (That is great I am glad for you)however like war it isn't that easy to walk away and go back into society. We were trained in TWI to be bondsevants.soldiers,(slave)to sell the product not so much(Jesus and the the TRUE scripture(but a twisted scripture) we left our whole life behind most of us to be followers of TWI everything else was in the past long gone burned to ashes including in alot of cases family(earthly family) We didn't listen to anything that came between TWI ,it was like those bug lights on a summer day(zap zap zap)------------------------flatline! It is okay to have emotions now(that doesn't mean you are walking by the "flesh" it means you are human and that is what humans do laugh, cry, mourn, weep..we are NOT reaction geered anymore like robots to "walk in fellowship"according to TWI If you place your hand on a hot stove (REMOVE IT) It's gonna hurt you, unless that "feeling is so numb that there is NO reaction anymore. Being raised Catholic I never had that experience as I did in TWI(so I don't call RC a Cult)the structure was never as intense as TWI. I personally still believe in God and the bible and that Jesus is God(John 1) BUT I am not into "organized religion" I have made my peace with God after that horendous experience with TWI almost broke my hope in ever "EVER" seeking that road again. ...but it took time and years of healing in the process.
  9. well...lets see how do I say this I don't consider calling TWI a Cult because it is a coping mechanism to me, no more than I would call a WalMart a "store". That is simply what it is. Also the "hunger I had to want to know God" didn't come from The Way International I had that allready and it is why I was intrested in "the class" and I was not religious so TWI seemed laid back and comfortable(at first!) then I realized it was anything BUT laid back and relaxed,it was just a dumb decision I made at a young age in life. When I need Gods truth I simply go look out in nature...it is simple to understand and free.

    One By One

Good song when NOT applied toward TWI. I always like those guys music back in the day. Certainly does sound better than those weird way dancer people(about the renewed mind!)
  11. ..and there is always BEANO!
  12. I want to share this from my newspaper. Beans get such a bad rap. If you talk about enjoying them, people either think you can't afford meat, or they make really lame fart jokes. At Mexican restaurants, they're usually an afterthought, and for good reason. They're often pretty mediocre. Too often, taco places use lard as the main seasoning and then dump a spoonful of slop on the side of a combo plate. And that's too bad, because beans can have a very nice flavor. The classic frijoles de olla are just beans in a clay pot (called an olla) and simmered for hours with garlic and salt. They are simply phenomenal. The only downside is that the olla might have a glaze made with lead. Or you can always have the frijoles a la charra or the frijoles borrachos. Both have a wonderful mix of some pork (usually bacon or pork rind), tomatoes, onion, garlic and jalapenos that are sautéed and mixed with the beans as they cook. If you mash those and fry with a little oil (or properly rendered lard), you're talking about some great frijoles refritos. By the way, the word "refrito" doesn't mean re-fried. It means well fried. Please correct your friends if they use it wrongly.

  14. Yes, after LCM took over as president, things went drastically downhill. Well..it was going downhill before that! I left before that even happened, I left because of various reasons but mainly because it was a scam to even call this "cult type organization" biblical research"!!! That is like a child with a magnify glass or a student microscope discovering "spit" for the first time! It is an INSULT to even remotely compare The Way International to an type of "biblical research and teaching ministry" When everyone grows up and finds out it was just SPIT UNDER THE MICROSCOPE the entire time and to that LIE of vpw sears your brain like a cow being branded for ownership ...well yeah that kinda creates JUST anger and bitterness to the point you hope to GOD that NO ONE has to be involved in that lie,and decieved STILL by people using "the word of God" for personal gain(the fat cats in lil old new knoxville ohio.) But..darkness can't hide in TRUE LIGHT so all will and is being exposed as we speak on this,my prayer is that people are NOT hurt while searching for answers.
  15. or how not to be a thorn in the flesh? Splinter groups get the log out of your eye and see clear!!!! That is my two cents.

    Mommy dearest

Being raised in a very strict catholic family, catholic school nuns and all ,I remember being very disaplined and never ever too shame our family ,never to question God or the Catholic church, alot of respect and reverence all the time especially in church . When I discovered TWI ,my family flipped out (as most did)later on I never went back to the Catholic church and tried Baptist, Pentecostal and Non denominational. When visiting my family with my young children, my mother was driving down the road with us and the subject came up about "saints" even though I was out of TWI I didn't pray to saint and told her simply that in our family we don't pray to the saint we pray to Jesus Christ. Well.....she hit the breaks on the car and I thought we wrecked or something  and she just went off to a point I thought she was gonna have a heart attack!!! Gez Louise kinda freaked out my kids too. :( But that is my catholic mom,and she means well...God love her. Her only two children one joined a cult and went away and the other is into wicca. However with all that being said I still like Catholics and love my family very much,in the spanish culture it is just a big part of our lifestyle. So....that is my story
