I liked the book Wild Trees its about Redwoods.

just finished reading The Shack and I liked it. It is Christian Fiction. I also like the series of books Yada Yada Prayer Group....and God has a dream for your life by Sheila Walsh.

I just reread this and have to say I feel lots of us ex wayers had this struggle.and while I was unlearning false teachings by twi I had a BIG struggle (huge)just tormenting me,and what also helped me was bible studies by Precept Ministries. Not just going to church but like pulling teeth.it was spiritual warfare,I had to look at everything from every angle. The veil came down when I surrendered and quit trying so hard to learn so much,and accept the fact that God still loved me.

Coolchef that is really "cool"brrrrrrrrr my husband used to do the same that is where I got the fasination for Ice Sculptures and since I am such a symbolic thinker ,I wrote out Ice Sculptures. So sorry for your loss Jeff,I am glad you had a great relationship with your grandfather. (and I would love to hear your laugh too) I never got a chance to meet my grandfathers but there were people throughout my life that helped me to unweave the cult teachings of twi and see clearly. I like to think we can continue the legacy of these people.
