  1. C) Reminds me of when, as children, we would try to get around the living room by staying on furniture. The floor was a death trap, or some such. The show might have been called "Fire Pit." (?) George
  2. I can think of some films with Jason Robards, and some with William Macy, but none with both of them (yet). George
  3. If all of the TV shows are streamed, I probably haven't watched any of them, though I might have heard of them. George
  4. MacGyver is correct. (The recent reboot was entertaining but lacked the charm of the original.) George
  5. More commonly known as Lon Chaney, Jr. Correct. It's interesting that, although he's known primarily for his horror roles, he acted in a LOT of Westerns. George
  6. Yes, although voice actors may not be easy to recognize. George
  7. In the late 1980s, two teenage boys made a bomb in their garage which went off, killing one of them. The surviving boy said they learned how to make the bomb from an episode of the show. However, the show was quickly exonerated after it was discovered no such episode existed. In fact, all sorts of scientific tricks were presented on the show, but key steps were usually omitted to prevent kids from attempting the same tricks and getting hurt. The star got the lead role when he didn't bother to remove his glasses during his audition, showing a lack of pretension that the creative team wanted in their lead. George
  8. Lenny Small The Frankenstein Monster Jigsaw Kennedy The Mummy Jim Lane Count Dracula George
  9. Ryan O'Neal Paper Moon Tatum O'Neal George
  10. Back to the game. I can think of a lot of shows with multiple spinoffs (NCIS, Law and Order, Star Trek (especially if you include the streaming shows); but I can't think of one based on a movie or movie series. George
  11. Even though the same actors playing Superman and Lois played them in Arrowverse stories, this show mentions super-hero teams in OTHER universes, so no Supergirl or Justice Leaguers here (unfortunately). Apparently there will a Gotham Knights TV show on CW starting in mid-March. Summary from Wikipedia: In the wake of Bruce Wayne's death, his adopted son Tim Drake forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman's enemies. Drake works with these children when their parents are all framed for the murder of Bruce and attempt to clear their names. George
  12. "They say we're young and we don't know; we won't find out until we grow." George I'll be gone for a couple of days. If you know it, just play on.
  13. Oooh, THAT one seems familiar... George
  14. I can hear the song in my head. I just can't remember enough to get the title. George
  15. You're right, of course. Raf did say there was more than one prior show. But I think the answer to the quiz is Highway to Heaven. George
  16. Here's Raf's point. As this reads, it says that the first actor to receive the award was a woman. That isn't the case. James Cagney and Orson Welles both won it before Davis. (As did two directors.) George
  17. Highway to Heaven? The previous show would be Little House on the Prairie. Michael Landon also starred in "I Was a Teen-age Werewolf." George
  18. Except that the only other Sorbo show I can think of is Andromeda, but that's also a "period piece" that didn't feature any Hercules actors. George
