  1. Go ahead and repost your clue. Feel free to add others, as well. George
  2. I've got no problem with that. In the future, Oldies, you have to guess correctly the current puzzle before starting another. That's pretty much the rule for all of the game threads. Also, no googling to get the answer. These are tests of memory (and sometimes logic), not internet search skills. It IS acceptable to google when POSTING a puzzle, to ensure that the clues are accurate. George
  3. The creator of this show made television history by becoming the first person to write an entire 22-episode season of a television series, this show's third season. He also wrote the fourth season and all but one episode of the fifth season. The actors and actresses were never told in advance what was in store for their characters. Each new episode was just as much a surprise for them as it was for the viewers. Each major character and storyline had a "trapdoor" designed into it, allowing the creator to integrate unforeseen changes during production without changing the main plot. A Star Trek regular had a recurring role in this show, quite different from his Star Trek role. Two of the actors were married, one who had been a regular on CNN and the other a staunch conservative, occasionally substituting for Michael Savage on his show. Unsurprisingly, the marriage didn't last. George
  4. Oldies, You want the "Name That Flick" thread. It would also be OK in "Movie Mash-up," but probably not best in this thread. George
  5. Christopher Lloyd The Dream Team Stephen Furst George
  6. Well there was Dennis Franz, but again, I can't think of another movie... All these actors did a LOT of TV. George
  7. Those sound familiar, especially the last one; but I'm not getting it yet. George
  8. That didn't help. I'd google his photos, but then it might give away the role. George
  9. "Superman"? Brando was lazy and didn't learn his lines. (His farewell to "Kal-el" was written on the infant's diaper. He might have tried to say that Kryptonians weren't humanoid. George
  10. I remember Craig Wasson and Deborah Shelton from the movie, but I can't think of any other movies they were in. George
  11. Jackie Gleason The Hustler Paul Newman George
  12. Gene Hackman Superman Margot Kidder George
  13. Saint Jack George Lazenby On Her Majesty's Secret Service George
  14. I guess this explains WW's comment about punching my upper lip... George
  15. Still have no idea what any of you are talking about. George
  16. I suppose that any time ANYONE of us is stumped, then it was a stretch for this thread. On the other hand, we all have personal favorites which we would assume (correctly or incorrectly) that EVERYONE should know. George
  17. Most of the thread is gone now, but I'm pretty sure you posted agreement with me when I first mentioned the Highlander stuff. My post above was a recap. Maybe I was hallucinating. George
  18. This one seems to have disappeared in the server upgrade, so here it is again. This image will continually update. George
  19. Ron Perlman almost always plays characters fully disguised (Hellboy, Vincent (Beauty and the Beast), Viceroy (Star Trek Nemesis)), so I might not know him in a movie for that reason; but I don't think he's an accomplished swordsman. George
