I know the song; I can't think of the title. George -
Messenger was sent to Mercury and Juno was sent to Jupiter. I would have accepted "comet" for Stardust. Specifically, it analyzed dust near the comet Wild-2. Curiosity was one of the Mars missions. NASA's GRAIL mission flew twin spacecraft—Ebb and Flow—in tandem around the Moon to map variations in the lunar gravitational field. The probes generated the highest resolution gravity map of any celestial body to date. At the end of the mission, the probes were purposely crashed on the Moon. As Ebb passed over an area of greater gravity, its speed slowed relative to Flow and increased in lesser gravity. Higher gravity meant denser rock, presumably caused by an asteroid impact. Lower density was presumed to be due to volcanic activity. I'll give it to Raf, with an assist from Human. George

So, Superman and Lois is back. Remember when I said that this show was a good blend of soap opera and superhero stuff? Not this episode. 95% soap opera, 5% superhero. Also Jordan Elsass, who played Jon Kent in the first two seasons, left the show and has been replaced by Michael Bishop. Gotham Knights also premiered tonight. This is a completely different Bat-universe. Bruce Wayne is murdered and found out to be Batman. Three kid thieves (Duela, Harper Row and Cullen Row) are framed for it, along with BW's adopted son. (Dick Grayson? No. Jason Todd? Guess again. Tim Drake? Wrong, buffalo breath! It's Turner Hayes. Who????) Apparently, Hayes never knew about his father's extra-curricular activities. The kids escape the police with the help of Robin (Carrie Kelley, using the name of the red-headed girl in the Dark Knight series, though this young lady is black) and Stephanie Brown. Misha Collins (Castiel from Supernatural) is an unscarred DA Harvey Dent. So, a lot of names from the DCU but virtually none of the character histories. I'll give it some time (it's not as if there are a lot of comic book shows left); but the first episode certainly did not wow me. George

Nick Kroll was on "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" this past weekend. I had no idea who he was, but he's apparently in HOTW II. Googling him, I'm pretty sure I've never seen anything else he's been in, though I do recognize a couple of the titles. He seemed engaging, though. Was he any good? George

Sounds like a woman from Superman's past (Lois Lane, Lana Lang, Lori Lemaris, Luma Lunai...) George -

Yes it does. You're up. George -
The rhyme scheme reminds me of Bob Dylan, but obviously this isn't his. George

Go Ask Alice "What goes up, must come down." George -
Yes, indeed! Sort of a precursor to Amazon Women on the Moon. George

That's the one! George

If correct, it's Raf's. George

Original titles for the film included "Free Popcorn" and "Closed for Remodeling". Presumably both were rejected for the confusion they would cause when displayed on a theater marquee. The scene in the "Catholic High School Girls In Trouble" segment, in which the young man says, "Mrs. Burke! I thought you were Dale", to the woman with whom he's sleeping, is a reference to an old Grape Nuts breakfast cereal commercial, in which a man mistakes his girlfriend's mother for his girlfriend. Because of the low budget and poor funding, the movie was shot with a variety of different cameras at any locations that were available, using actors willing to work for nearly-nothing paychecks. Likewise, in order to offset the potential of the few investors pulling out due to objectionable material, the less-offensive portions were filmed first, saving the raunchy stuff for last (or just plain keeping it hidden until the last minute). Sounds like Eddie Deezen from Raf's description. George

Still no. Maybe this will help: "Have I got things to tell you!" "What happened?" "I'm engaged." "Congratulations. Who's the lucky girl?" "I am!" "I don't care how rich he is, as long as he has a yacht, his own private railroad car, and his own toothpaste." "Will you look at that! Look how she moves! It's like Jell-O on springs. Must have some sort of built-in motor or something. I tell you, it's a whole different sex!" "Real diamonds! They must be worth their weight in gold!" "Water polo? Isn't that terribly dangerous?" "I'll say. I had two ponies drowned under me." "Oh no you don't! Osgood, I'm gonna level with you. We can't get married at all." "Why not?" "Well, in the first place, I'm not a natural blonde." "Doesn't matter." "I smoke! I smoke all the time!" "I don't care." "Well, I have a terrible past. For three years now, I've been living with a saxophone player." "I forgive you." "I can never have children!" "We can adopt some." "But you don't understand, Osgood! Ohh... I'm a man!" "Well, nobody's perfect!" George
