  1. With Ted Knight in there, it has to be a character who would have appeared in a cartoon in the 60s or 70s. That would eliminate, say, Doomsday or Bane. Brainiac? George
  2. Late 60s, model,(later) TV icon. Helpful, but not ringing any bells. Can't be Mary Tyler Moore, who was already famous from the Dick van Dyke show. Marlo Thomas? George
  3. I stand corrected. To be honest, I didn't check the timeline. I just seemed to remember the TV role first. George
  4. That line reminds me of this one: "I'm ....ed off now, Jobu. Look, I go to you. I stick up for you. You no help me now. I say "F--- you Jobu", I do it myself." Other lines from the film: "One hit, that's all we got, one godd--n hit?" "You can't say godd--n on the air." "Don't worry, nobody is listening anyway." "Going somewhere, meat?" "About 90 feet." George
  5. Not the first, not the last of this movie series. According to an interview given by one of the stars, he attended the movie's premiere with his mother. During the scene where he yells lurid remarks at the main character's wife, his mother turned to him and said, "I did not raise you to talk to a lady like that." She then stormed out of the theater. That star was already well-known for a TV role; this was his first film. He uttered a phrase which became a catch phrase for him. Most people associate that phrase with the TV show, but it was never said there. George
  6. No, he was in Captain Ron, but I don't think he was in any of the others. Time to make it easy: Inner Space Cross My Heart Captain Ron Father of the Bride (1991) Mars Attacks! Mumford Three Amigos Jungle 2 Jungle Clifford George
  7. Ted Knight's live action roles probably were not covered by other actors. He did a lot of cartoon voices, though. He narrated a lot of the Superman cartoons, but I don't think he voiced Superman. I could see Spiner, Tudyk, and Armstrong doing villains. Let's try Lex Luthor (?) George
  8. "One, two, three o'clock, four o'clock, rock." George
  9. I'm glad we got that straightened out. Still no idea whose legs they were, though I might have known at one time. Can we narrow it down a bit? Was she another famous actress at the time? A model? George
  10. The movie, BTW, was "The Graduate." Not sure whose legs. (Since Bancroft has a full frontal nude scene, why would they use a body double for her legs?) George
  11. War Games Barry Corbin Urban Cowboy George
  12. No. He WAS in Inner Space, but not the other movies. Inner Space Cross My Heart Captain Ron Father of the Bride (1991) Mars Attacks! Mumford George
  13. Correct. Luck Day in Three Amigos, Theodoric of York recurring skit on Saturday Night Live, Navin Johnson in The Jerk. George
  14. I'm tempted to say "Leave the kids alone," but I believe the actual title is "Another Brick in the Wall." George
  15. To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. Conan the Barbarian George
  16. Not super-hero, but comic-book related: Riverdale starts its final season tonight (after The Flash). My understanding is that the stories will be more like the comic book, with little or none of the supernatural and film noir aspects of the first seasons (with Jughead being the only character who can remember what has gone before). Maybe they got good enough reviews of the 100th episode, which also went back to "Classic Archie," to do some more. I've enjoyed the show, but I would have liked to see it more "old school" (pun intended). George
  17. The other details I'm not to sure about. George
  18. Correct. Daniela Ruah ("Kinzi") has the eye birthmark. Callan was always called "G" until his actual name, Grisha, was found out. Nobody calls him that, even now. NCIS: New Orleans (already come and gone) and NCIS: Hawaii (still running) have much less time on the air. George
  19. Assuming that passing touchdowns are counted for the receiver, not the quarterback, I'm going with a running back. Eric Dickerson? George
