Well, okay, I HAVE seen some of "The Deer Hunter"; but I doubt I've seen the beginning (where the music probably would be heard). I actually met one of the (bit part) actresses from the film. She was a cousin of Don Brunelle (9th Corps); I met her at his wedding. George

Thanks for the clip, CK. Didja ever notice how most of the TV themes that actually got air time on the radio were cop shows? Right off the bat, I can think of Hawaii 5-0, the Rockford Files, and Hill Street Blues; and I imagine there are others I could think of with a little time. George

Yeah. "Moose" was a giveaway, since it clearly wasn't Bullwinkle! I'm thinking that the show that starred an old SNL star also starred the co-star of "McMillan and Wife." Since Katerine Helmond only starred in "Who's the Boss" and one other show, it was the other one. At least now I understand Sudo's clue. Since Kathy mentioned that she had tried to post the "Rockford Files" theme, I'm wondering if that's what she meant by the star having appeared in a movie with Sally Field. Of course, it's possible that one of the many stars of the actual show in question starred with SF in a movie, as well. George

Kathy's doofy little theme song is driving me nuts! (A rather short drive, I might add.) I know I've seen teh show, probably many times; but I just can't place it. And Kathy's and Sudo's clues don't help. Rick's songs come up on my iTunes with title and artist, so there's no point in guessing. Actually, the last one with the guitar solo didn't give anything away, and I have no idea who did it! Pachelbel's Canon was one of the songs Lucy and I had played at our wedding. As a recessional, we used John Philip Sousa's "American Wedding March." I dare you to find a clip of THAT! I think our wedding may have been the first performance of the piece in seventy years. Other than Moses, I think only one other person in the Bible was called "the man of God"; and that was an OT prophet whose name wasn't even given, because his office was more important (to the record) than his name. Even in the OT, there were usually several prophets active simultaneously, so declaring one to be THE man of God would be out of order. George

As originally planned, the murderer was going to be the police detective that was hunting Dr. Kimble. It became so obvious to everybody, that they switched it up, so that it actually WAS the one-armed man who did it. George
