  1. Not Tony Curtis. He died in 2004. You've seen his films. These have been characters from earlier films, but even those I've had to curate to remove the obvious ones. Emiliano Zapata Marc Antony Johnny Strabler Terry Malloy Napoleon Bonaparte Sky Masterson Rio Fletcher Christian Freddy Benson Matt Fletcher Maj. Weldon Penderton Peter Quint George
  2. I Saw Her Standing There "Deep down in Louisiana close to New Orleans, way back up in the woods among the evergreens." George
  3. Lethal Weapon Danny Glover Predator 2 George
  4. Emiliano Zapata Marc Antony Johnny Strabler Terry Malloy Napoleon Bonaparte Sky Masterson Rio Fletcher Christian Freddy Benson George
  5. Sounds like a cop film, but I need more names. George
  6. I'd ask for more clues, but I'm not sure they'd help. George
  7. A) First pope in centuries to resign (causing a new election without his death)? B) First pope to use two names C) D) Olympic swimmer? George
  8. Star Trek III The Search for Spock "You'll put your eye out!" George
  9. I'm old school. Picking ONE of each: Vocalist I'd like to say Dion, but I'll go with Roy Orbison Lead guitar: Eric Clapton Bass: Paul McCartney (though honestly, I can't think of anyone particularly distinguished there -- kind of like rhythm guitar) Drummer: Dave Clark Piano: Jerry Lee Lewis Other keyboard: Stevie Wonder George
  10. Swing and a miss. There are some very obvious roles for this actor; I will save them for later. Emiliano Zapata Marc Antony Johnny Strabler Terry Malloy Napoleon Bonaparte Sky Masterson George
  11. (A) is clearly Gilligan's Island. Not getting the other one. I remember a "Dusty's Trail" which was a western trail ride version of GI, even starring Bob Denver as Dusty. Not post-apocalyptic, though. With the exception of The Simpsons and Married with Children, though, pretty much EVERY early FOX show was a short-lived sitcom. George
  12. Judge Reinhold Ruthless People Bette Midler George
  13. Well, that kills my second guess. I was thinking something like "Raising Arizona," with a death-row prisoner and a jailer. I imagine the real answer isn't as interesting. George
  14. Well, that and the next line, "We're too busy singing, to put anybody down." George
  15. Goldmember was the only one I really recognized. Emiliano Zapata Marc Antony Johnny Strabler George
  16. Right. If it were Latin, it would be Domine, miserere; Christe, miserere; Domine, miserere. It's likely that the earliest church "services" were in Greek-speaking locales, and this chant was kept as is when Christianity spread over the Roman Empire. George
  17. No. This is not in English. It's just not in Latin, either. (And it is spoken.) George
