  1. One would assume this is neither Agnew or Ford. From the "right-hand man, I'd guess John Ehrlichmann, but he wasn't much of a statesman. Henry Kissinger? George
  2. "Funny story. I had my office made into a rocket ship. All billionaires have them." "It's true." 1: "What happened to you?" 2: "A car ran me over a little." 3: "You always remember your first time." "You win this round, lettuce." George
  3. This show ended after five seasons, not because of poor ratings or actor burn-out. They simply felt that they had done everything that needed to be done. Five actors appeared in every episode. In an episode of the X-Files, Scully and Mulder took the names of the married couple on this show, while working undercover. George
  4. And the Arrowverse comes to an end. Arrow, Legends, Supergirl, Batwoman, Black Lightning, and now Flash gone. (And Stargirl, Gotham, and Naomi, but they weren't really Arrowverse. Superman and Lois and Gotham Knights continue, but not in the Arrowverse.) The last episode had some good action, with all of Flash's super-speed villains teaming up against Team Flash. And, of course, the syrupy ending. I wish Paco and Ralph had been involved, but I don't make those decisions... George
  5. I'm sure we've had older movies in this thread. George
  6. City Slickers Jack Palance Shane George
  7. The Honeymooners Regina Hall Scary Movie George
  8. Fine. Jimmy Foxx and Mel Ott. "Jimmie Duggan" is considered a cross between Jimmy Foxx and Hack Wilson. Again it just magnifies the incredible HR production of the Bambino. The next person to hit 600 was Willie Mays, and he didn't do that until the "Miracle Mets" year of 1969, and he was STILL behind Ruth by 114 at that time. FREE POST!! George
  9. "I'm So Excited" by the Pointer Sisters? George
  10. Help! This one might be borderline for this thread... "Eyes that look like heaven, lips like cherry wine That girl can sure enough make my little light shine." George
  11. Actually, "Ahab the Arab" was a Ray Stevens hit. These lyrics have a Ray Stevens feel, but I'm pretty sure it's not "Ahab the Arab." George
  12. Famke Janssen Golden Eye Sean Bean George
  13. The Brady Bunch? Zoom meetings often resembled the opening of the show. George
  14. There was a song "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavor on the Bedpost Overnight,: but I don't think that's what you mean here. This seems to be a song REFERENCING that song, and I have no idea what it is. George
  15. One of the answers to my clues is the player "Jimmie Duggan" was patterned after. Probably would have hit 600 homers if he hadn't kneecapped himself by drinking. Players' initials: J.F. and M.O. If no one still gets it, I'll give it up for a free post. George
  16. Ray Liotta is NOT correct. Coming to America Do the Right Thing Betsy's Wedding Goodfellas The Exorcist III Johnny Suede Mo' Better Blues White Sands Patriot Games Loaded Weapon I Amos & Andrew The Great White Hype George
  17. These are names which you would probably recall if you heard them, but may not be in the forefront of your minds. One played his entire 22-year career with the New York Giants. The other started as a Philadelphia Athletic, moved with the team to Kansas City, then returned to Philadelphia to finish his career with the Phillies. Name ONE to win the round. George
  18. Flash's final episode is next week. George
