Well, even though I'm a few days off, I'll honor my vow and post now, since I just posted in "Movie Pictionary." Besides, I'm going to be busy myself on Sunday. George

"Moonbase"? George

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!   I'm not DEAD yet, but I do turn 50 on Monday. George

I haven't the foggiest idea what EITHER of you is talking about! George

It's been a couple of days. Sharon wil return. In the meantime, I say topoftheworld should go. George

CK, I was waiting until your birthday to wish you well, and I inadvertently waited TOO LONG! But, just for today, I promise to post in the Nostalgia Thread after I post in Movie Pictionary, Name that Tune, or Name That Flick, just so the NT can have its "rightful" place on top! Party on! George

As easily done as said: George

Okay, I'll "stand in the gap." George

Ask and ye shall receive... George

Neither does Green Lantern. You're thinking of the Martian Manhunter (or maybe Gazoo!). George Is that you, Chas? I've never seen a picture that was actually SMALLER than the thumbnail, before. George

I watched Roller Derby and Wrestling when I was young. "Rollerball" starred James Caan in a futuristic cross between Roller Derby, Handball, and gladiator fights. I believe that the Raquel Welch film was "Kansas City Bomber." George

Christian Bale ("Batman Begins") would be a good choice, but you'd need to throw in Jim Carrey's sense of humor. George

Okay, Here are Snapper (1/2 Lab, 1/2 Blue Heeler) and Zook (1/2 Collie, 1/2 German Shepherd) George

I admit I did watch a couple of episodes of Baywatch, but obviously not enough to remember the tune. There was a Futurama episode featuring Pamela Anderson's head (I think). She was discussing the innovative "Baywatch: The Movie," the only picture filmed ENTIRELY in slow motion! George

Assuming for the moment that you're not an abusive drunk, and that the child is just trying to protect him/herself, I'd say he/she needs some serious attitude adjusting. George
-
Me either. The song is not even remotely familiar. George
-
Oh. Thanks, but not neccessary. George

I didn't get "Howard Stern" of "Prairie Home Companion" vibes. To me, it seemed "fair and balanced." :) I've enjoyed Chas's posts and the pics of her kids; this was a nice treat. I look forward to many more "episodes." I listened to the WAV version, and it sounded fine. George

I don't know the tune, which doesn't make me feel bad. I don't know what "AOR" is, which does! What song do you have the mp3 file for? If it's Capt. & Tenille, I've got all their albums (and, believe it or not, a TURNTABLE to play then on). If it's the tune you gave teh clue for, why not wait until someone guesses it, and then post a link? George

I know I'll hate myself for not getting this, but I've still got nothing. Remushide? Uncleskin? Remuspelt? If it were only the last two pictures, I'd guess "Uncle Buck." George

The first picture sometimes takes a while to come up. It's a windshield with a ticket on it. Doojable's new puzzle has me stumped. George
-
Dogs, unquestionably. Other than my grandson, they're the only ones who are ALWAYS happy to see me. Why fight for a cat's attention? Don't get me wrong: cats, birds, turtles, horses are all fine; but I've never had pets that worked harder to please ME than dogs. George

I think Judy Collins's version is the prettiest. I don't think I've heard Joni Mitchell's. This Glen Campbell version is a nice cover, though. George

Not a bad remake, actually. Funkier than the original. And wasway, since this is not the Nostalgia Thread, we don't have to keep hinting at the tune. Yuo obviously know it was "Love Will Keep Us Together" by The Captain and Tenille, so go ahead with teh next tune. George P.S. I thought Toni Tenille was HOT back in the day!
