  1. Actually, it's "The Liberty Bell March" by John Philip Sousa. One of many things to like about Monty Python. George
  2. Jump to p. 24 to see Digitalis's take on "Lock, Stock, adn Two Smoking Barrels." (It was fifty pages ago, but only five months.) George
  3. The KKK in the movie clip makes me think of "Birth of a Nation"; the actress, then, would be Lillian Gish, who did live to 99, but that was 13 years ago. The sound clip was used on this thread before. George
  4. I haven't seen the movie. I only know the answer because someone else depicted it a couple of months ago. I don't watch "Lost," but I assume the first clue is Terry O'Quinn's character on that show. George
  5. And he is, of course, correct. George
  6. So that was Kathy, eh? Not bad!! George
  7. That was good, Chas! "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." Even though I'm sure tom got it, I have one to post: George
  8. If it were a movie, I'd guess "Sink the Bismark." I don't recognize the song at all. George
  9. It's definitely a good puzzle (great movie, too). Of course, one of us is actually going to have to post the answer! George
  10. GC, If you jump to page 22 (use the drop-down box in the lower-left corner of the page), you'll see some instructions on how to post pics. George
  11. Shouldn't it be "Ora pro nobis Deo"? I'm not familiar with that particular hymn, but the dative case seems appropriate, not the accusative. George
  12. GC, I don't know how you would use the internet to cheat in this game, since you can't really "google" the answer. What we have tried to dissuade people from doing is looking up the "Properties" of the pictures, as these often contain the clue words. Now if you think you know a title but aren't sure if it's a movie, it's fair to "google" the title to be sure. And I'm pretty sure "Hannibal" is correct. You might want to wait for Raf to confirm, but you should be thinking up YOUR clues now! George
  13. I don't know this for a fact, but I'm pretty sure Kathy is right. Frank was the person that immediately came to mind when I heard him. And Sudo was right about the song, though it wasn't the usual Artie Shaw version. George
  14. Roy, I always enjoy the heart and passion in your posts. May God bless you today and all days, George
  15. All I see is the "stooping man." Hopefully, the other pics will show up on my home computer. George
  16. There are FOUR pictures, Dooj. There's a still life with a ptcher, a vase of flowers, and some other crudely drawn objects I can't make out, all between the branches and the bather. George
  17. (A+B), D, C, B, D, B, E, B, D (stepchildren) George
  18. Isn't that a step-ball-change? Yours sounds kinkier, though. A friend had e-mailed me the Fred & Eleanor bit. What struck me the most was the incredible synchronization. You'd almost swear it was digital animation. Amazing. George And for extra credit: Who was the narrator? (easy) What was the song they were dancing to? (a little harder)
  19. Does the male symbol somehow represent the syllable "ee"? George
  20. Kneeling is uncomfortable, and I don't feel the need to make myself uncomfortable to talk with God. If someone else wants to kneel, it's no skin off my knees! George
  21. I don't see the problem. Some of us are just too darn big, anyway! George
  22. Either gc or wasway needs to post a (written) clue... George
  23. I didn't see "The Shawshank Rebellion." My only guess for this movie is "The Cable Guy," but that would be too easy. George
  24. I'd guess "Boyz II Men," but that's a band, not a film. George
  25. I actualy preferred Ray Walston in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." Bixby was fine in all his shows. George
