Actually, I think it was Session 5. I can see the revulsion at hearing VP again and again, but come on, there's nothing wrong with the WORDS! George

To be honest, I can't remember if I heard it first in VPW's or LCM's Advanced Class. Samson "being made sport of" was the reason to believe Jesus was abused, because Jesus "was tempted (suffered) in all ways." Obviously, one could name a lot of SPECIFIC injuries that Jesus did not endure; the magnitude of his suffering would have made him our complete savior. Even if Samson was sexually abused (he may or may not have been), it doesn't mean that Jesus was. Jesus's humiliation would have had to be greater. George

A slight clarification could be in order: By your fourth question, do you mean Category 4+ AT LANDFALL, or any time during its route? I really doubt that anything will hit land with that much force. Rita, for instance was "the worst storm ever in the Gulf" but was only Category 3 at landfall. George

Bonne Anniversaire, Ala! George

The song is clearly "(It's Only a) Paper Moon," though I can't think of anyone recording it in the last 50 years. Ella Fitzgerald did a notable rendition. George

Please try another! Each of us has his strong and weak areas in this game. I'm pretty good with 50's to 70's pop, but not so much with later tunes, and C&W ONLY if it's REALLY well-known! George

It's a fine Negro spiritual (can you still say "Negro"?); but I think more of Egypt about, oh, 4000 years ago. George

Well, it's been a week, Tops! Maybe another clue? George

So, where is everybody? George

Raf, you're up! George

Sorry, kiddo. Not ignoring you, just don't know the song. George

If the fish are salmon, it could be "The Clockwork Man," but that was an old musical play about Oz characters. I don't think it was ever a movie. George

Not a problem, with adultery rampant! George

I got a 95, but I'm not sure the questions were the same. I didn't see one about "lane narrowing," though the lane ending was pretty clear. George

TEA BAG HE-MAN HOOD WORK FISH "The Boogeyman" something? George

That's okay. Since I'm kind of busy right now, how about you doing a "real" movie this time? George
-
I'd guess "Empire Falls," but that was a made-for-TV movie. George

Are there no parents in this crowd? The first clue is not a letter! George

Come on, gang! This one's easy! George

Being an old "Superman" fan, I recognize George Reeves as the player. I'm not sure about the coach or the movie. George

This is not "Scotch Pictionary." George

All right, how's this: George

That's why I didn't read the thread until after I had seen the episode! My guess: Jack is brainwashed by the Chinese adn sent back as a "sleeper." My first thought would be that another agent would stop Jack from destroying everything and become the new "lead" for the series; but if Kiefer is signed on for three more, that ain't gonna happen. I still think that having Jack be "the mole" for at least part of the day would be an interesting twist. Who would be sharp enough to stop him? George

I don't ever assume Raf is kidding anymore, but I bet the movie is "Monsters, Inc." George

I haven't seen it, but I'll guess "To Kill a Mockingbird." George
