Knowing the answer, I can "retrofit" the clues. The last picture doesn't come up, but the properties say it's a Shah. So MA'AM (or MUM, or MOM) + "MWAH"s + GAY + SHAH. George And Tom, I ONLY look at properties if I can't see a picture!

The lion was by its DEN. It was the sneaker that I couldn't get. (I wasn't thinking about HI-top.) Yes, Dooj, I knew it; and Tom probably did, too. But we knew YOU would have a better puzzle to post! George

I'm pretty sure I know what the movie is from the first and last clues. Too bad a couple of the pics didn't come up. George

A lot of my buddies and I put on an annual "Thank God I'm not a Pig" roast down here, and we've been doing it on a Saturday in early October. We'll have to make sure it doesn't conflict with Ex10's gig! George

On the other hand, if you don't know it, you really don't know it. I don't know it. :) George

Is the earth warmer than it was a few decades ago? Yes. Is man responsible (even in part)? Impossible to tell. A lot of people want to look at a correlation and see causality. One could make a fair correlation between the number of Southern Baptists and global mean temperature, but that doesn't mean the Southern Baptists are the cause of global warming. (I'm trying really hard not to make a comment about hot air!) I remember seeing a REALLY good correlation between solarization (sun activity) and global mean temperature a few years ago. I wish I had kept a copy of the article. George

So... late November, then? :) George

Ha! When I saw "shagging" I was thinking a la Austin Powers. I forgot that "shag" was a term for a slow jitterbug. (I saw the movie a few years ago.) There were a few small carnival-type places near me when I was growing up. I could spend hours at skee-ball or a shooting gallery. All gone, now, of course. :( George

Yeah. Where are Sharon and Pawnbroker? I think they've seen every movie. Heck, Sharon got "Traxx" on the second clue! George

Dooj's edit beat Raf by an eyelash. "Captain Horatio Hornblower" it is. Do it, Doojable! George
-
Since I'm almost positive I have it right, try this one. (Better hurry, Dooj!)

Cute, Linda! CAP + TENS + CORE + AITCHES = "Captains Courageous." George

Il etait vraiment "Michelle," Dreaming. (Revante?) Allez! George

Sounds like fun, Ex! My wife loves Shiner. And with the kids now living in Kingwood (and a sister-in-law in the Woodlands) we do get up your way now and then. George

Interesting. I have few songs that make me switch stations, too; but this isn't one of them! :) Geroge

Tom? Tom?? TOM!!!! You're up! George

Assuming Chas was correct, her clue is to "December, 1963" ("Oh, What a Night") by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. George

These lastest clues aren't still from "The World's Fastest Indian," are they? If not, I don't recognize this one, either. George

Bennie Goodman made the song famous, but it was written by Louie Prima. And my wife always accuses me of "bogarting" my grandchildren! George

No, but not for the lack of trying. The Way Corps program was sold as training for Christian leaders in all walks of life. And there are some for whom it actually worked out that way. For most, especially in the last two decades, it's been training in intimidation. Those who "excel" turn out to be the most hard-hearted. The posters here aren't scum. They're just scum wannabes! George

Before Sudo gets upset, I agree with Rick. I think it's Spock singing country (and not too badly, actually). George

No idea, here. George

We've run ou tof things to say. Post one, Ca! George

I finally googled this one. It does star a famous actor and was released during my lifetime, though I don't recall it appearing in theaters. (Oldies, I don't think that gives much away -- I've been around 50 years.) George
