Correct. The first quote was from the end of an exchange where Data tells O'Brien, "I have good news! Keiko has called off the wedding!" Of course, O'Brien stomps off to find out what's going on, puzzling Data, who thinks he should be happy to accede to her wishes. Geordi tells him, "Next time, let ME give the good news." Had this clue not been figured out, I would have used Dr. Crusher's line, "You didn't tell me you wanted to dance AT A WEDDING!" George -

Of course, EVERYBODY knows the Star Trek and Next Generation tunes, so I linked Deep Space 9 and Voyager. Like the first two, they had nice, symphonic theme songs. Then along came Enterprise, with this aberration, which probably was the reason the show never took off (so to speak). It's too bad, because Enterprise, at least in teh last season, had some great shows. A two-parter featuring the "mirror" universe used this theme song instead. Not terrific, but better! And I know I need another server to "hide" titles. I'm sure Rick or Sudo would lend me some space, but it's not necessary. Just enjoy the links! George

I have no idea what the movie is, but that exchange is priceless! George

Second clue: "Sometimes you get the bear; sometimes the bear gets you." George -
It's only relevant if a remake uses different lyrics and the lyrics you quote are specific to only one of the performers. George

Dooj, I'm assuming that your post had such an air of authority that Chas assumed you would post the next puzzle. It does seem likely that you were correct. (Cute puzzle, too!) George

Parade/march/crowd? Dorm/high/grease? (I think Ridell High was the school in "Grease.") George

Sudo sold his soul to help me out, so I owe him some posts. Anybody recognize THIS SONG? How about THIS ONE? I'm not good at hiding titles so close your eyes when your media player comes up! :) George

I'm sorry if I seemed abrasive. It's just that I have enough trouble guessing songs that there was actually some chance I might have heard. I have a half dozen Captain and Tenille albums with songs I like that I imagine no one else here has heard. There wouldn't be any point in posting lyrics. I don't mind someone picking a "one-hit wonder" or other little-known song, but it should have been on the radio, preferably in the last forty years. And frankly, I don't know: WAS wasway's song broadcast? George
-
Quote from Word Wolf from June of last year: I think a safe rule of thumb should be that the song has received airplay on at least one standard (normal station with a real broadcast) station at some point in history. Does your song at least fit this criterion, Waysider? I have no idea what's on your albums. George

The quotes about strawberries and "getting some" were from an e-mail. I remember the Tony Randall quote because it really cracked me up. If a star doesn't know an answer, he can make up a bluff or just say he doesn't know. That's when Randall said he felt no less a man for not knowing. When a star doesn't give an answer, the contestant is given the opportunity to answer or let the star try another. I never saw a contestant try to answer, no matter how easy the question was. Anyway, Randall gets the next question and says, "I don't know that, either." Contestant passes. Randall answers the third question; contestant agrees, because TR would not answer one he didn't know. Contestant wins the square. You're up, Raf. George -

This would probably be the original series episode (I can't remember the title immediately) where Kirk taunts Spock to get him to shake off the effects of a plant. George -
