  1. Hey, Rick! Have a terrific birthday. Your generosity in providing bandwidth to Nostalgia Threaders is surpassed only by your big heart. Here's wishing you many more to come! George
  2. I can't remember the title, but I believe it's the NG episode where a collector of one-of-a-kind items kidnaps Data, fooling the Enterprise crew into thinking Data's dead (for a while). George
  3. Thanks. Maybe I'll check it out next time I'm in "Chi." George
  4. I guess we'll have to wait for Seth to let us know if either is right. I can think of a couple Voyager, DS9, and Enterprise time-travel episodes the quote might have come from, as well. George
  5. I doubt it, because I don't think any of the crew that went back in time would have said that. It sounds more Q-ish, so I'll guess "Qpid," where Q sets Picard and Vash up as Robin Hood and Marian. George

RumRunner and Dooj (what a name!) Will not have heads bowed in shame. Their cheesecakes will delight; I'll be eating all night! There are no losers in that game! George
  7. What format is 97.1? I usually listen to the oldies station (104.3, I think) when I visit Chicago. George
  8. I wasn't even paying enough attention to notice that Waysider wasn't Wasway. I can wait! George
  9. OK. ANYONE who has seen this episode will get it from this quote: "I see FOUR lights!" George

Actually, you can bring toothpaste on a plane again. All your liquids have to fit into a one-QUART Ziploc, though. See you soon! George
  11. If that's meant as a clue, I'd guess "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede (not the BJ Thomas version). George
  12. Not Les Miserables. What are you supposed to let sleeping dogs do? George
  13. The oldies station used to play it a lot. I never knew what the singer looked like. According to one internet site, though, the song never made it higher than #6. It may have to do with local vs. national rankings. In Chicago in the 70's there was a popular song about "Lake Shore Drive." I doubt it was played anywhere else. George
  14. Another quote: "Torture is such an unreliable method of obtaining information, I'm surprised it's still practiced at all." If you still don't know it, my next clue will make it obvious. George
  15. Hey Wasway, to quote Sharon , "Ur up!" George
  16. Looks like we need yet another clue, Sharon! George

    ...7...8...9...10 You're out! George
  18. Where has that Poppins woman gone? I miss her in the "game room." If you're still around, MP, Have a wonderful birthday!! George
  19. I thought I knew what show Tops meant, though I never saw an episode. Googling clues from Hiway and Tops let me know I had been right. Funny, though, from the title of the show, I had always assumed it was about a secretary, not a teacher! George
  20. Misspelled, but correct! George (Banacek)
  21. ?? From your earlier guesses you can put together the correct title. It's even easier if you use the correct verb for your first choice. George
  22. Either the original pilot "The Cage" or its re-treaded version "The Menagerie." Capt. Pike has a phaser to a Talosian's head and says something like, "I think my gun really works, but you've been making me think it hasn't. Want me to test my theory on your head?" "Every one of your ships has a mine on its belly, my finger's on the button, and you're in a very bad position." George
