  1. Moose sans squirrel makes me think of "Northern Exposure." George
  2. I can't remember right now whether it was in Wonder Woman #1 or Sensation Comics #1, but I remember a couple of panels where a black train porter, with bug-eyes and big lips, is helping WW with her bags. His statement was something like, "Dese bags sho am hebby! Mus' be full o' books!" Was this an intentional slur? I doubt it, though it was plainly a caricature, sadly quite commonplace in 1941. Back then, also, Japanese were horribly caricatured as bright yellow, skinny, with bottle-glasses and buck teeth. Racist? Not necessarily, since Chinese were portrayed more civilly. It was just a way to vilify our nation's enemies, in much the way Arab extremists are caricatured today. George
  3. Mel Brooks Blazing Saddles Cleavon Little George
  4. Sarah Jessica Parker L.A. Story Steve Martin George
  5. This clearly occurs at DS9. The first sounds like an exchange with Dax. The second with O'Brien. The third probably Kira chewing out Quark. Since they sound like they're still getting to know each other, I'll guess "The Emissary." George
  6. I forgive you. Go, and sin no more. The Jerk Bernadette Peters Pink Cadillac George
  7. To be honest, I didn't even think of "Rain Man." George
  8. I think you need to help us out here, Suda! George
  9. The first picture is Rob Lowe, but you have the TV show right! George
  10. ?? The characters had names. The series had names. The episodes had names. What do you mean? George And WW's quote reminds of a DS9 episode where Dax (and Sisko,I think) wind up in early 21st-century Earth. I think the quote was by an earthman to Dax.
  11. "Get Around." I believe by the Beach Boys, though it could be Jan and Dean; they were pretty much interchangeable. George
  12. Good enough. "Improbable Cause." Garak's shop is blown up, and the investigation turns up a lot about the Obsidian Order, etc. George
  13. "If you lie all the time, no one will believe you, even when you tell the truth." "Are you sure that's the moral of the story?" "What else would it be?" "Never tell the same lie twice." George
  14. That was the episode where Kirk's brother Sam was killed. I'll give it some thought and post a clue later tonight. George
  15. I guess it's not "The Running Man," then. George
  16. Maybe the rain is irrelevant... George
  17. I'm thinking.. "Operation: Annihilate!" Original series, Spock gets attacked by a giant brain cell and is (temporarily) blinded when McCoy uses high-intensity light to free him from the influence. George
