Need a few more names. George

One star of this show, though not one of the titular characters, received more fan mail than any of the other stars. An actor and actress who played husband and wife on this show, played husband and ex-wife on another show (not a spin-off). In syndication, the show was aired in some outlets in the full hour-long version, in a mangled half-hour version in others. George

Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra? George

Presumably, you mean Susan St. James, who co-starred with Rock Hudson. George

Could it have been MacGyver? George

Well, apparently Raf isn't correct. And I thought I was pretty clever. George

My assumption is that the spoofs were titled according to the character on stage. Maybe (assuming Raf is correct) Macarthur and Mindy Macbeth and Mindy MacDonald and Mindy ? George

Correct. In the first segment of the TZ movie, a bunch of lost soldiers in Vietnam bemoan the fact that they shouldn't have "fragged Lt. Niedermeyer." At the end of AH, when describing the futures of the main characters, Niedermeyer is mentioned as being killed by his own troops in Vietnam. In the "Qpid" episode of STTNG, Worf grabs Geordi's lute, smashes it, and sheepishly says "Sorry" (a la Belushi in AH). Donald Sutherland blew off the gross but said it was one of the funniest experiences he ever had. George

Usually called "The Rain, the Park, and Other Things" but also known as "The Flower Girl." With Redrock out for a while, Human is up. George -
WW is correct. And, especially for musicals, song lyrics are often the MOST recognizable lines from a movie. George

The Sound of Silence "I saw her sitting in the rain, raindrops falling on her." George -
My motto's always been 'when it's right, it's right' Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night? When everything's a little clearer in the light of day And we know the night is always gonna be there any way . . . Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting . . Started out this morning feeling so polite I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling George
