  1. Heck of a game, eh? I won't mention how my Illini did. :( George
  2. This show was more recent than either of those. There were two spin-offs that I remember. One did well; the other didn't. George
  3. Is that a "Pictionary" or somehow otherwise related to the show in question? I don't remember a show called "Four Guys Hanging Out in Front of a Bar." George
  4. I'm tempted to go with "Eyes Wide Shut" and Nicole Kidman, but let's do Mission Impossible Jon Voight Midnight Cowboy George
  5. The one-millionth customer bit seems vaguely familiar, but I don't think I'll get it without googling. George
  6. "I have a headache." "What's that?" "A headache? You know -- when you've been working to hard?" [shrugs shoulders.] "You know -- when you eat ice cream too fast!" "Ohh! I HATE that!" George
  7. Rose was Corps (16th, or thereabouts) and was on staff in theTexas Limb in the early '90's. The last time I saw her was at the last ROA, when she was rather depressed about having been "demoted" to Corps grad. She was a very nice woman, and I wonder whatever happened to her. (I think she was in North Carolina for a time.) Anyone out there know her? George
  8. I knew Geralyn when she lived in the Houston area. I haven't met Carolina, but there are two listed in the US, both in Texas: Carolina Zamarripa from Switchboard.com George
  9. Oh, I don't know. I don't think it's wrong to use an actor twice if he's been in a lot of movies. Nor should it be wrong to re-use a movie, as long as it has different actors. For instance, I would have no problem with Parenthood -- Steve Martin -- The Jerk being on the same page as Father of the Bride -- Steve Martin -- The Man with Two Brains, or Steve Martin -- The Jerk -- Bill Macy and Bernadette Peters -- The Jerk -- Emmett Walsh. I do agree that Steve Martin -- The Jerk -- Bernadette Peters twice (even if one is in reverse order) should be months apart. George
  10. Moose sans squirrel makes me think of "Northern Exposure." George
  11. I can't remember right now whether it was in Wonder Woman #1 or Sensation Comics #1, but I remember a couple of panels where a black train porter, with bug-eyes and big lips, is helping WW with her bags. His statement was something like, "Dese bags sho am hebby! Mus' be full o' books!" Was this an intentional slur? I doubt it, though it was plainly a caricature, sadly quite commonplace in 1941. Back then, also, Japanese were horribly caricatured as bright yellow, skinny, with bottle-glasses and buck teeth. Racist? Not necessarily, since Chinese were portrayed more civilly. It was just a way to vilify our nation's enemies, in much the way Arab extremists are caricatured today. George
  12. Mel Brooks Blazing Saddles Cleavon Little George
  13. Sarah Jessica Parker L.A. Story Steve Martin George
  14. This clearly occurs at DS9. The first sounds like an exchange with Dax. The second with O'Brien. The third probably Kira chewing out Quark. Since they sound like they're still getting to know each other, I'll guess "The Emissary." George
  15. I forgive you. Go, and sin no more. The Jerk Bernadette Peters Pink Cadillac George
  16. To be honest, I didn't even think of "Rain Man." George
  17. I think you need to help us out here, Suda! George
  18. The first picture is Rob Lowe, but you have the TV show right! George
