Name that Star Trek Episode

Obviously someone referring to Geordi and Data. I think it's Riker, but I can't think of the (NG) episode at all. George -

Just a thought: when Finale installed, it set up a folder in Program Files. If I just delete that (Finale) folder, will that do the same thing as uninstalling? George

I tend to default to one of three AJ movies, so I'll pass this round! George

Well, I got another 256 M of RAM, defragged my hard drive and did a disk clean up. Finale still behaves the same way. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, but when I ran the uninstall I got a message saying that "unvise32.exe" could not be found. Could the disk cleanup or defrag have removed the file? There is one called "unvise32.exe-39CCB77B.pf" in a "Prefetch" folder, but Windows doesn't know how to open it. Is there a way to uninstall Finale without going through Start>Programs>Finale2005>Remove Finale 2005. Or, if I try to install it from the CD, will the program automatically remove all the old files before reinstalling? George P.S. You guys seem more knowledgable than the Finale help desk, and your turnaround time is much quicker!

Which, as some may not know, is a NG episode. George -
Sounds like "Pirates of the Caribbean," but since I don't recognize any of the quotes, I'll go with "Pirates of the Caribbean II." George

Hey, Ex! Happy Birthday!!! You sure don't LOOK 2 years old! (More like 20.) It was wonderful meeting you at the BBQ. Hope we can get together again soon! George

Well, I could have used a French horn (or Lena Horne, for that matter); but that would have been more obvious than it already was. George Go, Raf.

Dreaming is, of course, correct. And, for all I know, Tom DID get it and just didn't say. Go, Dreamer! George

Dunno, Raf. Actually, I think it's from "For Pity's Sake." If you do something out of compassion, it's for pity's sake. For pity's sake, answer the puzzle! George

Incidentally, I notice that, at least on my work computer, one of the pics isn't showing up. You should see three individual pictures and then a row of three other pictures. If they're not all there, you'll have trouble with the puzzle. George

Name that Star Trek Episode
GeorgeStGeorge replied to GeorgeStGeorge's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
Yes. The episdode title was "Divergence." The second of two parts showing that a Klingon attempt to generate "augments" like Khan using human augment DNA wound up making Klingons look more human. And though the DNA damage could be reversed, it would take a few generations. In the meantime, lots of Klingons would be looking to plastic surgery to return their forehead ridges. The earlier "How are you feeling?" quote was directed to Capt. Archer, who had incorporated some Klingon DNA (I believe to develop an antibody to the augment virus). Somebody has to break out of the OS/NG groove now and then! Go, WW. George -

Not DS9. The previous two quotes were googled. This one is from memeory, so it won't be letter-perfect, but it's more likelly to give away the episode: "I think I'm going to change my specialty. I predict that there will be great demand for plastic surgery throughout the Empire." George -
I'm not sure what Raf's "walk a long way" quip means, but that's probably because I haven't seen this movie. "Benny and Joon." George
