  1. "Please identify targets." "The Romulan Ships!" "Yes, yes! The Romulan ships!" George
  2. No to all. If it helps, Howard is the person's real name. George
  3. If I'm not mistaken, it's NG episode "Armament of Freedom." A computerized weapon system continues to attack the Enterprise, upgrading its attack each time. Picard finally gets it to stop by offering to buy it. Geordi commands a young crew in the battle bridge, having sent the main saucer section off to get help. George
  4. There are about five Twilight Zone episodes I remember fairly well, and that was one of them. "It's colder than a witch's -- uh -- elbow in here, Howard!" George
  5. Okay. Burgess Meredith loves to read. Some sort of catastrophe happens (nuclear attack?) while he's in a library basement, or something. He comes out, the only one (on earth?) alive, with "all the time in the world" to read his precious books. Then he breaks his glasses. George
  6. Sounds like the Twilight Zone episode about the watch that could stop time. George
  7. PIER POOP GABOR CHICAGO? Here we go again! George
  8. That's "Green Lantern." I did send a link to the CNN web page about it to my college roommate, also a big comic book fan. But I didn't think there would be enough interest at GS to put it here. If anyone's interested, here's the story. Martin Nodell created the original (1940's) Green Lantern. I grew up with the revised (60's) version. I really feel disappointed that I didn't go to see Gil Kane, the artist of that 60's GL, when he appeared at a comic book convention in Houston. It was a bad ice storm, and I decided in favor of safety. Kane died a couple of years later. George
  9. It was, in fact, the Temptations. I really like that version of "White Christmas." Their "Silent Night" is pretty cool, too. George
  10. Motown is correct. The group is more famous for soul and R&B. And it's not the Four Tops. George
  11. I would have to guess "Men in Trees." By the way, Ca Dreaming, you're up in "Movie Pictionary," too. George
  12. I'm sorry it came to this, but... "Bond. James Bond." George
  13. No. I actually have no idea what this puzzle means. George
  14. One last chance before I make it REAL EASY. "It doesn't bother you; killing all those people?" "Well I wouldn't be very good at my job if it did." "You keep your body in great shape. A waste, really." "The first kill is always the hardest. The second is..." [shoots him} "Yes. Quite." George
  15. Sorry, Kiddo. I recognize the characters, but not the song. :) George
  16. This seems to have escaped notice... <_< Recognize the singers? George
  17. Since (I believe) both Suda's and Linzee's answers key off of Marisa Tomei, I'll go with the first (Suda): Henry Winkler Night Shift Clint Howard George
  18. One Night at McCool's John Goodman The Babe George
  19. There was a movie called "Windy City," but I don't think it was ever a TV show... George
  20. Not without googling. I watched a lot of "Father Knows Best" growing up, but it wan't until I just checked IMDB that I realized they were all reruns. The only character I recall being called "Princess" was Elinor Donohue, but I assumed that you didn't mean her, as I thought FKB wan't on until the mid-60's. The "badge but no gun" reference is familiar, but I can't remember who that was supposed to be. Gene Barry was "Bat Masterson," but I don't picture him strumming a guitar. George Of course, there WAS a sheriff in North Carolina who dated Elinor...
