  1. I couldn't think of anything other than that first line, but since you posted it, I assumed it wasn't the title. George
  2. Not "Glass Onion." This one is from 2011. Let's add a few more names. If no one still gets it, I'll try another movie. Anna Faris Blythe Danner Chris Pratt Zachary Quinto Chris Evans Ed Begley, Jr. Ari Graynor Martin Freeman Tyler Peck Ivana Milicevic Heather Burns Mike Vogel George
  3. No. I suspected it would be unfamiliar. There are several other actors, but the ones I've named are the most recognizable. George
  4. I would have thought that you'd recognize a couple of the other actors. Anyway, not Cyrano. George
  5. 1: "I don't care if they did call you Larry Poppins. You are completely unfit to handle a child." 2: "It was Barry Poppins." 1: "What kind of sick cocktail were you going to make my grandson?" 3: "Jack, the baby's teething. I told Greg to give him some rum to ease the pain." 1: "It was your idea?" 3: "Yes." 1: "What is wrong with you people?" "Greg, a man reaches a certain age when he realizes what's truly important. Do you know what that is?" " Love... friendship... enjoying the moment... living... just love." "His legacy." "That, too. Right, yeah. Sure." "Let me put it very simply. If your family's circle does indeed join my family's circle, they'll form a chain. I can't have a chink in my chain." "What happened last night?" "Well, you got drunk and told my dad I'm pregnant, you revealed you have a 15 year old son named Jorge, and oh, apparently you have the hots for my mom." "Is this not the most handsome young man you've ever seen in your life? Used to call him a young Jewish Marlon Brando. Can you believe I conceived him with one testicle? No really, it's true. I only have one because the other one never dropped. It's called an undescending testicle. It's uh, not uncommon. But look at him! Imagine what he would've looked like if I had two!" George
  6. Alan Ritchson Justin Hartley Phil Lamar Liam McIntyre Miguel Ferrer Kekoa Kekumano George
  7. "You are without doubt the worst pirate I've ever heard of." "Ah, but you have heard of me!" George
  8. Anna Faris Blythe Danner Chris Pratt Zachary Quinto Chris Evans Ed Begley, Jr. George
  9. In his autobiography, one of the stars said of his Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination and win that "my first reaction was one of incredulity and vague pleasure, followed by a sense of embarrassment at the realization that for most actors of my age, an Academy Award or even a nomination comes as the hard-earned culmination of a long and dedicated career; mine was the reward for ten agreeable days spent with a friend in Toronto!" The same actor is also known for commercials portraying a very similar character. These commercials were often lampooned, exaggerating the actor's elite air. George
  10. Thanks, oldies. I'll take it into consideration. George
  11. Abbott and Costello? ("Who's on first?" Etc.) George If that's right, I'd give it to Raf who told us the third and first basemen.
  12. I had Kaspersky for several years and was quite happy with it, but as of mid-last year they quit updating it (worried about the Russians, I guess.) It was replaced by UltraAV until the Kaspersky subscription ended, which is right about now. Any suggestions for a replacement? I don't need a lot of bells and whistles. I have a single device (a PC). I don't need a password manager, though I could use a VPN. Norton Standard seems to fit the bill, but reviews say it has abominably many popups, continually tries to upsell, and has lousy customer service. McAfee and BitDefender may be good alternatives, or maybe even resubscribe to UltraAV. I just don't know. I would assume that this forum would attract responses from the most knowledgeable GS-ers. Can you help? George
  13. Now I can hear the melody, but I can't remember the title. George
  14. Abner Doubleday (Invented baseball) Kenesaw Mountain Landis (first baseball commissioner) (guesses) George
  15. Maybe I'm just older. I can think of at least two other CR films, though only one which would be easy to link to. The "three-day rule" ends tomorrow... George
  16. It does seem familiar, but I just can't place it. George
  17. There was actually a crossover between Sanford and Son and Hawaii 5-0? George
  18. Sean Connery Zardoz Charlotte Rampling George
  19. The Six Million Dollar Man is correct. Interestingly, when the show was broadcast in Israel, it was called "The Man Who Is Worth Millions". This was due to the fact that, in Israel, the number six million is associated with the Holocaust. In Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America ONLY, the series is known as El Hombre Nuclear ("The Nuclear Man"). George
  20. I didn't watch the show, but maybe How I Met Your Mother (?) George
