  2. You take Sally, and I'll take Sue And we'll rock away all of our blues. George
  3. "If you can't tell me what it is, let's use reverse logic -- Perhaps it'll help if you tell me what it isn't." "It is not liquid, gaseous, or solid, despite the fact we cannot see through it." "So far that's not much help." "We're wasting time. The shuttlecraft is ready." "You're determined not to let me share in this, aren't you?" "This is not a competition. Whether you understand it or not, grant me my own kind of dignity." George
  4. War Games Matthew Broderick Glory George
  5. I would guess Alexandre Dumas ("The Count of Monte Cristo") George
  6. The "Don't call me Benjamin" line implies someone with the Dax symbiont. Is this "Invasive Procedures" where John Glover (long before his Lionel Luthor days) is a Trill who has the Dax synbiont placed in him? Sisko convinces his confederates that now that he has the Dax symbiont, he'll betray them all and gets his girlfriend to help get the symbiot back to Jadzia. George
  7. It's from Shakespeare's third sonnet. You're up, W&W! George
  8. Coming to America Don Ameche Cocoon George
  9. Jeast, I'm glad you had the love of God and the love of family (some, anyway) to get you through. The Countess and I have only been married 10 years, but then we didn't get started as early as you! ;) God bless you, George
  10. Look in thy glass and tell the face thou viewest Now is the time that face should form another; Whose fresh repair if now thou not renewest, Thou dost beguile the world, unbless some mother. George
  11. The Game Sean Penn Fast Times at Ridgemont High George
  12. I see that they've got the "Singing Ladies of the Way" choreography down pat. :) George
  13. I believe that that's Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky." George
  14. You all make valid points. I guess what I'm asking is, did anyone ever see VP studying the Bible (or at least commentaries)? I suppose he actually spent time with his "Research Department," where there would be some study, discussion, etc. Perhaps that's a complete misconception, as well. Maybe he just told them to study so he could present the results; or, worse, told them to prove some particular point of his theology. I don't know if Research Geek could chime in here, or maybe Don't Worry Be Happy. Of course, if NO ONE can say they saw Vic study the Word, that probably answers my question. George
  15. "You're not so tough, you know that? How many people have you killed? Ten? Twenty?" "You talk a lot." "I talk a lot because you don't talk at all. Now, how many?" "Including little girls?" "I'm not afraid of you. I told Helen you wouldn't be so ugly if you cut your hair." "In fact, you talk all the time. It's like a storm when you're around!" "If I ever see him again, I'm going to cut open his head and eat his brain." "Let's have an intelligent conversation here: I'll talk, and you listen." "Don't just stand there, kill something!" George
  16. Consider yourself nouthetically admonished (or whatever that silly Way phrase was, back in the day)! George
  17. Obviously some sort of space storm threatening DS9, but it doesn't ring a bell. George
  18. I wouldn't have minded using a flipper as the clue if it hadn't had the word "Flipper" written on it... Well, I'll post one a little later. George
  19. Still up for grabs. Anyone want to post a new show? George
