"Have you ever lost an hour of sleep your whole life?" "I'd be prepared to lose a few with you." "I'm sorry. This is the fun-vee. The hum-drum-vee is back there." "You've been called the Da Vinci of our time. What do you say to that?" "Absolutely ridiculous. I don't paint." "What is going on here?" "Let's face it, this is not the worst thing you've caught me doing." George

Wild swing. Since he was so fond of the seafaring life, I'll guess he was against the farmer's lot. Hemingway? George

One of my favorite shows, although it got really weird by the end of the second season. George

Dating in WTI... what an experience.
GeorgeStGeorge replied to fooledagainII's topic in About The Way
Since I never had a roommate, I didn't have half the problems you mentioned. I dated a lot of women, in and out of TWI. As you mentioned, some took the class and then disappeared when we quit dating. I met my wife at a branch function.* George *We got tossed out of TWI less than a month after we got engaged! -

It's tough getting a Voyager episode through here. "Prototype" After finding and repairing a robot found drifting in space, B'Elanna is abducted and forced to help robots to reproduce building a new prototype or Voyager will be destroyed. However, after finding out that the robots were in the middle of a robotic war and had killed their makers, B'Elanna is forced to destroy the prototype. Up for grabs, folks! George -
Riddle me this, Nostalgic Ones! What do the following TV shows have in common (other than that they're old)? Not getting it. I'm sure I will be thoroughly chagrined when the title is revealed. George

"Spiderman"? George

I liked FP and KC. It's possible, of course, that they simply read How to Enjoy the Bible. Celebrity, I suppose, is in the eye of the beholder. George

From Twinky, the "Junk Table" thread, opining about VP: You might ask why a man who hauled off 300 Bible study books and commentaries to the city dump (as stated in PFAL) would not with the Bible books also haul off his several table loads of spiritualist mumbo jumbo. George

I had heard that Gloria Copeland (wife of televangelist Kenneth C.) took PFAL. Lake Daly was a model who did a tour in Way Corps. (Whatever happend to her?) I also heard that the lead singer of the rock group Heart took PFAL. George

Winston Churchill? George

Maybe. ;) George

No. Almost a decade later. You haven't got the first clue yet. George

Or not. "Shenanigans" is correct. It was a Saturday-morning game show with Stubby Kaye as the host. Go, Dooj! George

I guess we lost Purple Days. "According to Jim" George This will be a tougher one, I think: three pics, need a name

Actually, you're seeing the first and third pic. Here's another version of the second one: George

Thomas Aquinas is correct. Have at it, WW! George

Dooj already tried St. Francis. It must be the other one. George

That it is... Hit it, Dave! George

That's the one. Daredevil never saw Elektra because he's blind. George
