Since fornication and adultery are both sins, that hardly matters. What was the big misdirection (IMHO) was trying to make every reference to fornication an account of spiritual fornication (i.e., idolatry). I believe VP explained this as God "winking" at his ignorance, as he did for Gideon. When VP became "more spiritually mature," such phenomenal evidence was no longer necessary. George
