  1. Despite winning an Oscar at a young age, one of the stars admitted on Late Show with David Letterman in 2009 that she had only recently watched the film for the first time at the time of the interview. She was not allowed to watch the film at the time of its release because of its sexual content, being eleven years old at the time. The other star won fourteen awards of the fifteen nominations she received for her role in this movie, including her musical performances. George
  2. Anna Paquin The Piano Harvey Keitel George
  3. Beverly Hills Cop This may be a stretch for this thread, but I think we already did a different quote a while ago, "You've got a promo featuring America's favorite old fart reading a book in front of a fireplace! Now I have to kill all of you!" George
  4. Mommy Dearest "Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people, and I want him brought right here! With a big ribbon on his head! And I want to look him straight in the eye, and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-foot, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey s--t he is!" George
  5. Apparently, that was by the Guess Who. I have trouble telling a lot of groups apart. I assume it's my turn (performer notwithstanding), so (this should be easy): The mood is right The spirit's up We're here tonight And that's enough George
  6. Presumably. that's why you keep giving hints, hoping that someone else will get it. Has anyone "seen" Redrock or Nathan, lately? George
  7. I'm thinking the Doors, but I just don't know. George
  8. A correct assumption. A lot of the show takes place in mid-18th-century Scotland, so a lot of Gaelic is tossed around. Catriona Balfe actually speaks Gaelic, but her character (time-traveling Englishwoman Clare Fraser) does not. George
  9. It's nagging me in the back of my brain. I really should know it. George
  10. MAYBE when the actress is revealed. But I'm having a little trouble remembering all the commercials from 40 YEARS AGO. George
  11. Yes. I hadn't realized that in his earlier, heartthrob days, he was the Commander (Adams) in "Forbidden Planet." George
  12. I'm sure I HAVE heard this song, but I can't remember enough of it to get the title (or band, though the lead vocal was male). George
  13. Nice little tune, but I honestly don't think I've heard it before. George
