Name that Star Trek Episode

"Remind me to stop trying to help people." "I found these schematics in the Vulcan database. It's a Raptor-class scout vessel." "How long will it last down there?" "Its hull's at least twice as thick as ours, reinforced with some kind of coherent molecular alloy." "Yeah, it's a tough little ship, but it can't hold up under that pressure forever." "Oh, it certainly feels nice to be clean again." "It is...pleasant." George -

I thought that I had read that "The Trouble with Tribbles" was originally supposed to be a Harry Mudd episode, but that Roger Carmel was unavailable. A quick check of the internet does not bear this out, however. Anyway, I say we give RumRunner a shot if he's willing. You don't have to remember lines by heart. If you remember an episode, google it. IMDb and Memory-Alpha have many lines from Star Trek episodes. For example, if you wanted to do the NG episode "Q Who?" google "Q Who" and "quotes." You get a slew of choices. Some entire scripts (including all NG and DS9 scripts) are available at TWIZTV George -

Rummy! Welcome to the game! We could wait for NowISee, but I'm sure you're right. Actually, you have the title right, which is enough; but the episode you described is "I, Mudd." (You should name the series, as well as the episode, by the way.) George -
That was "Name That TV Show." Completely different game. :) The Rifleman is, of course, correct. George

These stories just -- live! ;) George

You are only considering gross receipts, here. Although the labor was mostly free, you still have to take out the cost of the food, the utilities, etc., before you can answer how much ROA actually made. I expect that the net was pretty significant, though! George

Those are the clues (though the first is spelled "Thor"). So what's the answer? :) George

Every day when the work is behind you and the shop and the store put the lock on the door, just get away where your worries won't find you. If you like, well, I'll tell you more. At the door there's a man who will greet you. Then you go downstairs to some tables and chairs. Don't let the day get the better of you. When the evening comes, there's so much to do George

Hey, I thought you (or was it Steve!?) were kidding with "The Squid and the Whale"! "Anne of the Thousand Days" starred Richard Burton and Genevieve Bujold. It was nominated for about a dozen Oscars, including Best Picture (1969). You're up. George
-
Actually, no; but I THOUGHT there was! The actual title of the movie (I just looked it up) was "Anne of THE Thousand Days." Story of Anne Boleyn. You're up, Raf! George
-
That's the one. Normally, we wouldn't allow two guesses without a response, but it seems you're the only one with a clue about this one. You're up! George

Tzaia's take on the chair-stringing thread: Perhaps it was all the focus on the trivial that kept people from seeing the big picture. Geroge

Something that has escaped the mainstream media is that there are large supplies of Tamiflu available, thanks to the protocols put in place by Pres. (G W) Bush. George

songs remembered from just one line

Yep, by Neil Sedaka. It's funny -- when it came out in the 70's, I thought it was Karen Carpenter singing. I couldn't figure out the line "I look at her, and she kises me"! You're up, Bow George -

"They cannot hear you, Captain. To their ears, you sound like an insect. That's your description, Captain. Accurate, if unflattering. Really there is nothing wrong with them." "Am I behaving incorrectly?" "No. It's just that I liked you the way you were before: stubborn, irritating, and independent." George -
Roy, It sounds that you've recovered from your illness. I pray for God's blessing on you for many more years. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! George
