  1. Yes. We first meet the Ferengi and learn about their clothing habits. Picard says, "Merde." when the Enterprise is stuck in a force field no matter what he tries. Go, WW. George

  7. Okay. How many of you are actually planning to come down FRIDAY NIGHT? I've got about 20 for Saturday. My assumption was that most of you would also be here for the"pre-party," but now I'm not so sure. The Countess and I need to know how many to prepare for, so please let me know ASAP (preferably here, but a PM will do). Thanks, George
  8. P.S. I've been getting a lot of PM's for the address. It's 4822 Cloverfield Dr, Pearland TX. To avoid the traffic on FM 518 (Broadway St.), the best way to get here from Houston is to take SH 288 south to Beltway 8. Save yourself a toll by taking the eastbound feeder (access) road to the second stoplight (Cullen Blvd). Turn right (south) and go on Cullen until you pass FM 518. The next stoplight is Fite St. (also called Doherty Rd.). Turn left (east). At the first intersection, turn right (Meadowhurst), then take the first left (Meadowglen), then the first right (Cloverfield). We're the sixth house on the right. Alternatively, you can take 288 to 518, go east through about 20 stoplights to Cullen, turn right, etc. If you're coming from west of Houston, the Sam Houston tollway around town (south) is probably fastest. Go past 288 and exit at Cullen. George
  9. I think that with Dooj's and Ex10's chairs, we should have enough. Heck, our patio isn't THAT big! George
  10. "Happy Together" -- The Turtles George
  11. When I say "Need a name," it means that you have to know the name of the person depicted, not just that he'a a man, or a cop, or whatever. Here, I presume you mean that the title is a name. SIGN + FELLED = "Seinfeld." George
  12. "It's not an unusual occurrence, any psychiatrist will tell you so. I've spoken at length about it to several of them. It's the only way he can live with his own conscience." "You're certain of that." "Yes, I am." "I'm afraid I can't help you, Lieutenant." "But you would if you could." "Where is he?" "He's gone." "Ellie, I want a straight answer. Where is he?" "I don't know." "You lost him." "I guess I have. But it makes it worthwhile. You lost him, too." George

    Three heroes

    From the album: My pals

Jacob as Superman, Mikey as Spiderman, yours truly as Green Lantern (I updated my 25-year old costume).
  14. Ex (and any others driving down with room in your cars), Can you bring a few lawn chairs? We have "outdoor seating" for about 7. even with folks meandering in and out, I think we'll need more. George
  15. "I say put all available power into a full-out combined phaser and photon torpedo salvo. Destroy their ability to sustain this forcefield, sir." "Yes! Hit them hard and hit them fast." "I say, 'fight', sir. There's nothing shameful in falling to a superior enemy." "And nothing shameful in a strategic retreat either." "Merde." "He has the right to meet death awake." "Is that a male perspective?" "Rubbish!" And the classic line: "And they shamelessly clothe their females, inviting others to unclothe them. The very depth of perversion." George
  16. I was watching Illinois squeak by Iowa. Anyway, "Halloween 2" is correct. You're (Lifted) up! George
  17. KNIGHT + MARION + HELMS + TREAT + "Nightmare on Elm Street." Go for it, NIS. George
