Name that Star Trek Episode
GeorgeStGeorge replied to GeorgeStGeorge's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
I actually think that this episode was near the climax of the Dominion War. (I don't think the Borg ever appeared at DS9 except for maybe a Sisko flashback.) I saw "New Voyages" listed on the G4 channel, but whenever I tuned in, it was something else. Here's a link to the IMDb listing: New Voyages George -
This ought to be easy... two pics George

It wasn't a bad puzzle, Lifted! I just happened to have done one on The Ten Commandments a few months ago, and it was pretty similar. George

four pics, need two names and a character George

I don't remember who did this, but I do believe it's "They're Coming to Take Me Away"! George -
"(The) Beverly Hillbillies." George

OK, now I get it. NIS, this movie was also a TV show. Take a stab at it, y'hear? George

Not in my iPod either. That is, if I had one! George

I've been wondering what happened to xxxxx. He used to post quite frequently. Maybe he will again. George Edited by ModRocker to remove references to a GS member.

Interesting. Dioxin notwithstanding, dumping raw sewage into a public waterway is illegal. As far as the dioxin goes, how much WAS there, parts per billion, parts per trillion? With the tremendous outcry against dioxins in the 80's, Dow developed analytical methods to determine it in parts per QUADRILLION. The problem with that is that people think that ANY is a hazard and so the ability to find such infinitesimal quantities is actually counterproductive, because people will think that there is a hazard where there is none. Background levels of dioxins are generally in the low parts per billion, because they are formed pretty much whenever trees, grass, etc., burn. George

Thanks again for the sausage, Mo. There was more than enough, and it was great! (The Countess wound up using some of the extra in jambalaya -- mmm!) George

That's what I had in mind. "Jack Ryan" hates to fly, but after flying around in a helicopter to jump into the ocean next to a sub, he can sleep easily on a plane. You're up, Lifted! George

BEVERLY D'Angelo Hank HILL Sadly, I don't recognize the singer(s); but I'll guess "Beverly Hills Cop 2." George
-
Correct! I've only seen trailers, though I love the scene when Bill O'Reilly joins the spirits of Patton, etc., to smack "Michael Moore" around: "Hey, you're not a spirit!" "I just enjoy slapping you." George

No. (And I'm running out of google quotes!) George

Name that TV Show [EZ quotes only]
GeorgeStGeorge replied to Raf's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
That's the one. George -
No, though I have used it in "Name that Flick." George
-
It must be "The Hills." There is apparently an MTV show by that name. George

Michelle KWAN + Kiana TOM + EFS + ALICE Krige. Quantum of Solace is correct. Go, Steve!! George

Another good guess, but not what I'm looking for. One of the stars of LoEG also stars in this movie, though! George

The header at the top of every (?) page has a line for "Forums...Greasespot Cafe...Rules...etc. Click on "Gallery" then "Members Gallery" then "Texas BBQ 2008." George

Good guess, though I don't think Limpet actually had a fear of flying. This movie was more recent. (For a long time, though, "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" was my second-favorite movie, after "Mary Poppins." I actually did a clue for "Limpet" earlier in this thread.) George
