  1. Wrong couple. Good guess, though. George
  2. I knew what he meant. I just don't know whether he was actually answering to get the next shot or hoping someone else would get it. George
  3. This isn't Beetlejuice. You can say the name. George
  4. Sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't "remember it from one line." George
  5. This show was originally to be an adventure drama, "Seven Against the Sea." It was re-tooled as a comedy and was very successful. The star of the show originally turned down the role, figuring that as an Oscar-winning actor, TV would have been a bit of a demotion. But when talking with a young boy who didn't recognize him but who could name the stars of several TV shows, he decided to take the part, one for which he is probably best remembered. George
  6. This biopic about a singer had the lead role offered to Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, and Johnny Depp. None of them would likely have done their own singing, but the actor who finally got the part did (and quite well, IMHO). The movie is also a love story. The actual couple were only a few years apart in age, but the actors were over 20 years apart. George
  7. It is a song, but it's the showstopper from a famous movie (musical). George
  8. No. Maybe this will make it a LITTLE easier: Alex Rodriguez (in 2003 with the Rangers) and Andre Dawson (in 1987 with the Cubs) won baseball MVP awards. What was unusual about those two wins? George
  9. "Ladies and gentlemen: the story you are about to hear is true. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent." George
  10. "Seventy-six trombones lead the big parade..." George
  11. Okay, let's try this. Alex Rodriguez (in 2003) and Andre Dawson (in 1987) won baseball MVP awards. What was unusual about those two wins? George
  12. No. Note that the "third movie" was not a sequel. It just starred the same three actors. George
  13. It was one of the Lord of the Rings movies, the first, I think. George
  14. Basic Instinct Jeanne Tripplehorn Waterworld George
  15. The Green Hornet Seth Rogen The 40-Year-Old Virgin George
  16. Obviously, someone's really old, probably a vampire, so there wouldn't be many older women around. The Vampire Diaries? George
  17. That's the one. I tried to avoid the REALLY obvious ones... George
