  1. "Terminator: Salvation"? Nothing wrong with using new movies,BTW. They just have to be well-viewed enough for people to figure out your clues. Older movies usually have been seen by more people. George
  2. There were different versions of the P&G story. The most amusing was that the CEO had supposedly said on some talk show that he had sold out to Satan for his (and P&G's) success. Of course, no one could find the actual tape. Equally looney (pun intended) was the idea that the "man in the moon" symbol was designed so that in the mirror the curls on his beard look like "666." (It actually did, but I doubt there was diabolical influence.) When I went to work for Dow, one of my co-workers in graduate school went to P&G. I asked him how it was, working for Satan. "Great! We have naked women everywhere and drug breaks every hour!" George
  3. I'm confused. If Garth is giving a line from a different movie, it's not his turn. I certainly don't recognize it from the movie I quoted. Anyway, here's another line from the movie I quoted earlier. If this doesn't give it away, you're just not paying attention! "Your will is strong, Van Helsing." George
  4. Nope. This is a quirky song, but it got a LOT of airplay. Here's another line, with the first one corrected: I was traveling down the road, feeling hungry and cold I saw a sign saying "Food and drinks for everyone" George
  5. Yeah, Babe! Did RumRunner make you a cheesecake? ;) George
  6. I was traveling the road, kind of hungry and cold George
  7. If widespread dissemination of the content were the intent, your point would be valid. It is, however, much easier to control who receives the message if it's transmitted by phone. Geroge
  8. Hey, just because MA wasn't seed, doesn't mean he wasn't possessed! George
  9. Maybe we'll bend the rules JUST THIS ONCE ;) and let you get away with only the title. George
  10. "I'm not kidding you; I'm not. Someone is going to publish your book. Someone is going to read your book, and realize what you've done. Because YOUR BOOK is amazing. YOUR BOOK is a work of genius. YOUR BOOK is going to change the world." "These damn things are as hot as a stiff c--k!" "You are the butter to my bread, you are the breath to my life." "I have to murder and dismember a crustacean." George
  11. It would seem that this is not a song which I can remember from one line. ;) George
  12. Morgan Freeman Driving Miss Daisy Dan Aykroyd George
  13. I do, but since I attend a TWI derivative, maybe that doesn't count. George
  14. Seems pretty self-evident. :) Actually, LCM recanted this later, saying that MA probably got born again when he was young (in a Christian home). His MANAGER was the "seed boy." George
  15. I got a call a few years back from someone who had been my TC back in the 90's. Just chatting...oh, by the way, fellowships are much better now...the old BC is gone...blah, blah, blah. I told him I was glad he was doing well (even though when he was TC, he spent all sorts of time trying to dig up dirt on me to rat me out); but I had no interest in re-joining. Never heard from him again. George
  16. That would imply a $500 admission fee. I was there. Maybe there was a fee like that, but I don't remember it. Of course, I'm sure that there was some charge to cover room (we stayed in campus dorms) and board (three meals a day). George
  17. Maybe "camp" wasn't the best choice of words. I believe he's looking for something more like a training program, not a week in the woods. There are Camp Allen and Camp Tejas, both quite close to Houston, for short group gatherings. I do not believe that he plays an instrument. George
  18. Now that I think of it, I don't think the S-word is even used on FOX. This might be a Showtime series. I have no idea. George
  19. I was hoping that someone would (incorrectly) guess Linda Ronstadt as the artist. Her cover had somewhat different lyrics, obviously! :) George
  20. He's about 18. Since he was planning to go to Ohio from Houston, I don't think that distance (at least within the continental US) is a problem. He's just looking for a chance to grow spiritually before (I assume) college. What's the name of the camp? George
  21. Since no one has guessed, I would say, yes. George
