  1. Maddy is correct, of course. Go ahead! George In this thread especially, if you're sure you have the right answer, go ahead and post another quote. If you were wrong, someone will thrash you about the head and shoulders. Figuratively. Most likely. :) George
  2. In the words of our "illustrious" President, LET ME BE CLEAR. This thread is for songs EASILY RECOGNIZABLE from the FIRST LINE UNLESS the first line contains the title. you are SUPPOSED TO "GIVE IT AWAY." And it's Bush's fault. George
  3. Guys, I still can't believe that you don't get the point here. In "Flicks Remembered from Just One Line," the phrase "too easy" has no meaning. The movie should be obvious to anyone who's seen it, and probably to most who haven't. You're not supposed to be subtle, here. That's for "Name That Flick." George P.S. JB was correct, in case there was any doubt...
  4. I'm pretty sure that these are lines from different parts of the movie. By JB's grouping, I would also assume that the middle two quotes go together as a part of a conversation. The movie seems familiar, but I don't know yet... George
  5. The Saint Elizabeth Shue The Karate Kid George
  6. There were two versions of "The Thomas Crown Affair." I believe that the quotes may be from the newer version which did, indeed, have nudity. George
  7. "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain." George
  8. Go again, Human. Neve Campbell was fine, but then you need another Neve Campbell movie, THEN another actor/actress in that movie. George
  9. I would suggest "Name that Tune" if you're trying to stump people. In this thread, the burden is on the poster to pick songs that at least a large percent of the viewers here will recognize from the first line. George
  10. I'm thinking that the last word might be "forever" (FORE or FOUR + EVE + ORE); but I'm still stumped. George
  11. Are we supposed to know who the kid with pink hair and the seated man are? (Sometimes it's the name that's important, sometimes just the action or position.) So far, no idea. (But good job of posting!) George
  12. Dolly Parton Rhinestone Sylvester Stallone George
  13. OK, flow, you're up! Again, if you need help figuring out how to post picture clues, please see my instructions in the "How to Play the Game Threads" thread ("pinned" at the top of the forum). George P.S.: In the instructions, I suggest having two windows open: one for the GS reply box and one for your search engine. If you're running something like Windows 7, just use two tabs.
  14. I've been a Reds fan for 40 years. So forgive me if I don't get too excited about the Cardinals. Sure they swept the Reds in Cincinnati a while back, supposedly showing that the Reds just didn't have what it takes. But the Reds have won all of their last five, while the Cardinals lost four of theirs, dropping once again to three games back. There's a lot left to the season (unless you're an Astro, Cub, Brewer, or (God help them) Pirate); but I think the Reds will win the division this year. George
  15. Yes. It would have to be over 40 years old not to have one! George
  16. Come to think of it, I think this song was performed by a woman. I can hear it in my head, just not enough to get the title. George
  17. #2 looks like a color wheel for paint selection #3 looks like he's fielding a grounder or hit Still have no idea what you're going for with #1 George
  18. Leslie Easterbrook Private Resort Hector Elizondo George
  19. Dude, this isn't an ALTO sax, it's a BARI. The case is 4 feet long. George
  20. We'll have to by-pass for a few reasons. Ricardo was in ST II, not III. There was no FI movie. Was Charo ever in a movie? Let me help. John Larroquette Mad House Kirstie Alley George
  21. I'm thrilled to see someone gtaking this thread up again. And I see your pictures just fine (although I'm not sure what they mean, yet). By the way, I also posted instructions in the "How to Play the Game Threads" thread. OW/BEAN/HIT FAN RUN/SMILE ?? George
  22. "The Untouchables" is correct. You're up, JB. George
