  1. REVENGE of the Sith, but OK. Smoke 'em if you've got 'em. George
  2. Close, but no cigar. "I just learned the terrible truth. I think Chancellor Palpatine is a Sith Lord." "A Sith Lord?" "Yes, the one we've been looking for." "I'm not going to die in childbirth, Anakin. I promise you." "No, I promise you." "I'm going there to end this war. Wait for me until I return. Thing's will be different, I promise. Please wait for me." "Are you going to kill me?" "I would really like to!" "I know you would. I can feel your anger. It give you focus... makes you stronger." "Senator Organa... the Supreme Chancellor requests your presence at a special session of Congress." "I will be there." "He will be expecting you." [Quietly] "It could be a trap... It could be a trap." George
  3. Okay, which of the two lines I quoted would you have used? Either by itself is pretty useless, but together they give it away. One line is fine, or a short exchange. I don't recognize your line, but from your other clues, I'd guess "Scary Movie." George
  4. From the first post on this thread (mine, incidentally): In the vein of "Songs remembered from just one line" I thought I'd add one for films. The idea here is that a line from a film is so memorable that it immediately identifies the film. (In lieu of a single line, a short exchange between characters is acceptable.) (Emphasis added.) The lines from "Broadcast News" were a single exchange. So there. :) George
  5. "[His sweating...]It wasn't UNPRECEDENTED, was it?" "Not unless you count "Singin' In the Rain"." George
  6. That's the one. "The Emissary." Suzie Plakson played a Vulcan, Selahr; a Klingon, Keylahr; and a Q (Q-lahr?) in various NG and Voyager episodes. Go WW. George
  7. YAYYYY!! Incidentally, Pauley Perrette's character is ABI Sciutto. You're up! George
  8. That's the right character. Use only one of Richie Rich's names. George
  9. Remember, I said need a NICKNAME... George
  10. Waysider, we need some help, here! George
  11. Okay. "Parenthood" three pics, need a nickname George
  12. "I've noted that some people use humor as a shield. They talk much, yet say little." "You'd let me go without saying another word, wouldn't you?" "What needs to be said?" "Nothing! Everything!" "Whenever Starfleet gets enigmatic, I know we're about to face a challenge." "Ke-hong ji!" "Wait. You can't mean..." "We are mated!" "Yes. I know. I was there!" "You are late." "Sorry. Had to make myself beautiful." "I fail to understand why." "We're alone now. You don't have to act like a Klingon glacier. I don't bite. Well, that's wrong. I DO bite." "How did you like your first command?" "... Comfortable chair." "Whoever said getting there was half the fun never traveled in a class 8 probe." George
  13. Drawing this even further off-topic, how come the Enterprise's mission was to go where "no one has gone before," but there's always someone there when the ship arrives? Back to our regularly scheduled game thread: "I'm going there to end this war. It could be a trap." George (New quotes tomorrow, if it hasn't been guessed already.)
  14. Yes, it was "The Ten Commandments." I don't know about your old teacher, but there is something about Yul Brynner proclaiming "So let it be written; so let it be done" that captures my fancy. You're up! George
  15. No. Much older movie. (About the time of "Julius Caesar" with James Mason) George
  16. The blond kid was portrayed by Macaulay Culkin in a live action version of the comic. George
  17. "I'm going there to end this war.
  18. No, though this was an epic about an historical figure. George
  19. Replace Pauley's picture with this one. Need the character name. George
  20. "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane/Starship (I forget which) This isn't the firrst line. In fact, it's about the only line that doesn't contain the title: Icandigithecandigitshecandigitwecandigitstheycandigityoucandigit Oh, let's dig it; can you dig it, Baby? George
  21. "So let it be written; so let it be done!" George
  22. Well, perhaps if you had simply said,"I like these guys; give them a listen" it would have made more sense than just dropping a link without comment. George
