  1. Robert Prosky, Darrin McGavin, Kim Basinger... George
  2. It's been three days. Go ahead, Human. George
  3. I probably have seen it. I've watched most of those parody movies. I just don't remember it. George
  4. No, JB meant "Rosanna" which he also posted a couple of days ago. Let's not quibble. FREE POST! George
  5. Reminds me of this one: All I wanna do when I wake up in the morning is see your eyes George
  6. In "Little Shop of Horrors," it's the BOSSES (and others) who disappear. If I said what the guy did for a living, it would give it away. Remember the very first post on this thread. "The Wizard of Oz" isn't really about Dorothy going on a killing spree, it's just what happens. This movie isn't (primarily) about this guy's job status, but rather about what he does well. George
  7. Ideally, in this thread, not only should the movie be well-known, but the quote should give it away, at least to someone who's seen it. "The Music Man" certainly fits the first requirement. "Trouble in River City" fits the second. The other quotes JB gave were a bit obscure. They would have been fine in "Name That Flick," though, where it's okay to tease a few times. My "Silent Movie" clue was marginal, but TH got it right away, so no harm, no foul! :) George
  8. Modified slightly: A guy is really good at his job, but keeps hacking off his bosses by shooting his mouth off. He loses his job, gets it back, and loses it again. George
  9. That's it. Mel Brooks asks Marceau to appear in his silent film (all shown in flash cards), whereupon Marceau declines, orally. You're up, TH! George
  10. "Old Time Rock and Roll" If everybody had an ocean, across the USA... George
  11. Don't recognize it, but it sounds hysterical! George
  12. See, now THAT's what this thread is about (giving it away). "The Music Man." This next clue would not be a giveaway, except that it's the only spoken word in the film: "Non!" George
  13. All the President's Men Robert Redford The Natural George
  14. "Love Potion Number 9" Fee Fee, Fie Fie, Foe Foe, Fum. I smell smoke in the auditorium. George
  15. You got the title right, though it was Star Trek VI. You're up. George
  16. That's it. Waysider used one of Dion's "hippie" songs, so I had to follow with one of his doo-wops. George
  17. "Abraham, Martin, and John" Here's my story, it's sad, but true... George
  18. Mannequin Andrew McCarthy Weekend at Bernie's George
  19. Okay, then... "They're animals." "Jim, there is an historic opportunity here." "Don't believe them. Don't trust them." "They're dying." "Let them die!" "What we require now is a feat of linguistic legerdemain and a degree of intrepidity." "If I were human, I believe my response would be...'Go to hell'...if I were human." George
  20. Assuming Jbarrax was corect about "I am the Walrus," it would have been his turn to give a clue, not HWAB's. HWAB might have simply been stating a fact, not giving a clue. This was coincidentally a line from "Glass Onion" (I guess). Ignoring all the other spaghetti, Jbarrax's clue is "I can see your face still shinin' through the window on the other side." Let's go with that. George
