  1. Obviously the newer version. I've only seen the 1968 film. But a quick IMDb search shows that WordHusky is correct. George
  2. Well, not incorrect. She was the only other Archie character I can think of. YMMV. Obviously, there were Betty and Veronica. Both were in cartoons and live action (Riverdale) but meet none of your other qualities. I'm pretty sure Midge, Big Ethel, and Miss Grundy are out, too. Archie Comics also had some super-heroes (The Jaguar, The Fly, and another (Black Hand?)) but no females. I'm stumped. George
  3. We ruled out Josie McCoy. The only other Archie character I can think of with her own show was Katy Keene, but she certainly didn't have more shows than Supergirl. Indies like Dark Horse weren't around in the 60s. Was this a Gold Key character? George
  4. If it's a DC character, I'm not seeing it. If it's a Marvel character, I won't get it. George
  5. "Crazy mover" must have some meaning, but I'm not getting it. Not "seed drill" either. George
  6. By "more shows," do you mean more series or more episodes? George
  7. Supergirl? I don't think her appearance in Action Comics was meant as a one-off (and it was in 1959, not the 60s), and I don't remember her having a cartoon, though she probably appeared in others. Her live action show started on CBS and then moved to CW, and she guested on Flash and other Arrowverse shows. George
  8. Is there some song called "Hold Your Breath"? George
  9. She did have one in the 60s. And she was a major character in DC Super Hero Girls, along with appearances in various Batman titles. I assumed you kept using the plural "they" rather than "he" or "she" to obscure the character's gender. Your grammar is usually better than that. I'm also guessing you would more likely do that for a female character. Of course, the comics don't even have to be Marvel or DC. Josie McCoy was in Archie comic books and led Josie and the Pussycats and also appeared regularly in Riverdale. Lots of choices, so I'll need more specific clues. George
  10. This sounds vaguely familiar, if only because some of the clues remind me of ones you've used before. Not getting it yet. George
  11. Something's Got to Give is the only title I recognize, and I can't think who's in it. George
  12. What word is pronounced differently depending on whether it is capitalized (except at the beginning of a sentence) or not? George
  13. Didn't we just do "Monster Mash"? Maybe it was in Name that Tune. Aruba, Jamaica, ooh, I wanna take ya Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama George
  14. Melissa. Not moving much over the next few days, but could strengthen... George
  15. I had my presidents out of order. For some reason I thought Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover were BEFORE Wilson, not after. Definitely no one from FDR on. If not TR or Coolidge, it must be Taft, Harding, or Hoover. Let's try Harding. George
  16. I[m pretty sure that no one from Wilson on had a beard of mustache. TR had a mustache. So, did Harding, Coolidge, or Hoover have one? That's why I guessed Coolidge. George
  17. Still sounds Marx Brothers-y to me. Horse Feathers? George
  18. "Those east coast girls are hip, I really dig those styles they wear." George
