  1. For the last month or so, I've noticed that it's easy to access all the forums except "Music, Books, Art..." (or whatever we're calling the Gallery and Reading Room these days). When I click on the link from the main forum page, it can hang for minutes before transferring. (It does, eventually, get there.) Also, sometimes when I've posted something, backing up to get to the forum doesn't always work, sometimes skipping to the main forum page. Is anyone else having these problems? George
  2. The only real rule for this thread is that the song had some airtime (not just your favorite album cut). Realistically, though, if the only time you heard it on the radio was the midnight-2AM spot on your college's FM station, that really doesn't count. That said, these songs don't have to be drop-kicks, as in "Songs Remembered from Just One Line." Just use some discretion. :) George
  3. Pretty much. I just wish I could get folks interested in the Pictionary threads again... George
  4. Actually, I think it's the Black Knight to Arthur in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." George
  5. "You don't know what this is, do ye?" "It's a pirate medallion..." "This is Aztec gold. One of 882 identical pieces they delivered in a stone chest to Cortez himself. Blood money paid to stem the slaughter he wreaked upon them with his armies. But the greed of Cortez was insatiable. So the heathen gods placed upon the gold a terrible curse. Any mortal that removes but a piece from that stone chest shall be punished for eternity." George
  6. Frank Langella Masters of the Universe Dolph Lundgren George
  7. Not the line I would have picked, but I'm pretty sure it's "The Fugitive." George
  8. "Blazing Saddles" "How can you eat ten boxes of Pop Tarts and still be this hungry?" "You know, for a crazy homeless person… he’s pretty cut." "What happened?" "We drank, we fought, he made his ancestors proud!" George
  9. I don't mind SS jumping in. I don'tknow his song, either, though the line sounds vaguely familiar. George
  10. Risky Business Rebecca DeMornay And God Created Woman (80's version) George
  11. Perhaps you should provide more quotes. George
  12. Jack Nicholson As Good As It Gets ;) Helen Hunt George
  13. I can hear the first lines, but I can't rmember the title. George
  14. The line was a quote form the Fred MacMurray version. It may have been used in the remake. You're up! George
  15. Here's an idea. Since this is not "Flicks Remembered from One Line", give more lines until someone gets it. You can pick more obscure lines at tghe beginning, and then make it easier as you go along. George
  16. "Crocodile Rock" You can rock and you can roll it, you can stop and you can stroll it... George
