  1. If you must, you must. I'd wait a little, though, just in case someone else can get it. George
  2. I'll give you a hint: Erland was the large, bald convicted killer befriended by Gene Wilder in "Stir Crazy." He didn't do his own singing in that movie, but he did in the other, well-known film. George
  3. Gene Wilder Stir Crazy Erland van Lidth ;) George (Erland was an acquaintance of mine at MIT. I know of at least two other movies he's been in, and one was pretty well-known, so I don't feel bad about tossing him in, here.)
  4. I haven't seen any of this series, so this is still a wild guess: "Alien"? George
  5. Sounds like "Night of the Living Dead" the remake, I suspect. George
  6. Let's not forget the man with three sons of his own.. "The Brady Bunch" Where everybody knows your name George
  7. Raf is correct. Lois and her son have snuck aboard Luthor's boatin the second quote. George
  8. That just wrong on so many levels! :) The Avengers are Marvel Comics characters. The Justice League are DC Comics characters. Jessica Alba ( )DID portray a Marvel character, but she was in the Fantastic Four, not the Avengers. What do they teach you kids in school today? George
  9. A Time to Kill Samuel Jackson The Avengers George
  10. Revenge of the Nerds Curtis Armstrong Risky Business George
  11. This show was billed as being "about nothing." George
  12. WordWolf got it. "12 Angry Men" was a film about a trial where most jurors are convinced of a defendant's guilt, but one persuades them otherwise. You got the "Men in Black" part, though. That meant, however, that the other film either began with "Black" or (as is actually the case) ended with "Men." George
  13. Jake Brigance is helped by Atticus Finch in defending a black man who killed the white men who raped his daughter. George
  14. "How many "f's" in "catastrophic"?" "Mommy, are we trespassing?" "No. Yes. Shh!" George
  15. That could probably be used in "Flicks remembered from one line." Rudy George
  16. "That Thing You Do the Right Thing"? (Rather palindromic) George
  17. Not on my playlist, but that doesn't rule it out. :) George
  18. Right. Wasn't it based on James Thurber? George
  19. This might be a little tougher, since neither of the films was THAT well-known, but I DO get a TWO-word overlap! A writer/wrestler on another planet, smitten with a woman on Earth, transports her and her husband to his world of dog-people, fish-people, transsexual ex-football players, and self-mutilating women. George
  20. Mike Myers Austin Powers International Man of Mystery Mimi Rogers  George
  21. Seems likely. It DOES fit. But I'll wait for WW's confirmation. George
  22. Actually, I WAS missing something. I thought Raf was continuing the thread and forgot two entries. I didn't realize he was commenting on WW's answer. So, Marilu Henner Perfect Jamie Lee Curtis George
