  1. This isn't the line everyone uses for this movie, but it's my favorite line, and I think it's memorable enough to give it away: I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. George
  2. Brent Spiner Independence Day Judd Hirsch George
  3. This comedy had a number of its actors replaced during the run, mostly new actors taking over the same characters; in another case, a new actor in a new role replacing a main character after the actor died. This show occasionally "crossed over" with two other popular comedies at the time. George PS I mean "actor" not to be gender-specific.
  4. I know that when someone gives the actual title, I'll be slapping myself; but I always thought of the song as "Ground Control to Major Tom"! George
  5. I'm guessing it's Sherlock Holmes. I don't know the BBC show, but CBS has "Elementary" a good show, and a very different take on Holmes and Watson! George
  6. Adrienne Barbeau The Fog John Houseman George
  7. Milla Jovovich Zoolander Owen Wilson George
  8. As a kid, I never noticed the similarities between "The Honeymooners" and "The Flintstones." It wasn't until I read a Jackie Gleason interview in Playboy (yes, I read the articles) discussing it. Then it was one of those "Duhhh" moments! Gleason mentioned that Alan Reed (Fred) occasionally "looped" Gleason's lines in "Honeymooners" episodes. George
  9. Driving Miss Daisy Dan Aykroyd The Blues Brothers George
  10. John Lithgow The Wrong Man Rosanna Arquette George
  11. There was a song from the 70's that was a series of names like this. It was "Life is a Rock" by Reunion But I don't think that's THIS song. All the names in Life is a Rock were associated with Rock and Roll. George
  12. I can't think of a particularly obvious one that hasn't been used before. FREE POST George
  13. I know the first half, it's the latter that I'm not sure of. "Rain Man on Fire"? George
  14. I know I've seen this. "A Few Good Men"? George
  15. Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg meet Prince in the story of a troubled black girl's rise in the music world. George
  16. I'm not sure I have the second movie correct, but it's something like Three Men and a Baby: Legend of a Dinosaur George
  17. Hook Robin Williams The World According to Garp George
  18. It was the crucified angel that triggered the memory, and then the Duran Duran reference. You're right, though. Other than a young, occasionally naked Jane Fonda, there's not a lot to recommend the film. "For what I am about to receive, may I make myself truly thankful." "He can't forget being rejected by his mother and father at the age of 11. They sent him away, alone, into a primitive community of licensed bullies and pederasts." "You mean he went to public school." "Exactly." George
  19. Right-o! George (This was meant to corroborate Raf's answer, but he posted again before this went up.)
