  1. Wild, in the sense that it WAS a long time ago (30 years, maybe 40?) with maybe one or two seasons and no syndication. And, of course, in the comics, BB never invoked "the Elders," he just shouted "Shazam!" to become Captain Marvel. I didn't remember the incantation, but the only guess I had about a show with "Elders" was "Shazam!" Although other shows (Star Trek, Mannix) featured black actresses in prominent roles, this was the first American show to STAR a black woman. George
  2. Except that that's not this song. See Mrs. Gray she's proud today because her roses are in bloom. Mr. Green he's so serene, He's got a t.v. in every room. Creature comfort goals They only numb my soul and make it hard for me to see My thoughts all seem to stray, to places far away I need a change of scenery! George
  3. I think everyone is on spring break... Same movie "I saw... its thoughts. I saw what they're planning to do. They're like locusts. They're moving from planet to planet... their whole civilization. After they've consumed every natural resource they move on... and we're next. Nuke 'em. Let's nuke the bastards!" George
  4. Eric Bana The Hulk Jennifer Connelly George
  5. From the way your last post appeared, it wasn't clear if you were posting one, two, or no new clues. Are the two that I've clipped clues to a new film? George
  6. "Little Red Riding Hood" by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. See Mrs. Gray she's proud today because her roses are in bloom. Mr. Green he's so serene, He's got a t.v. in every room. George
  7. "Must go faster. Must go faster! Must go faster! Go, go, go, go!" George
  8. Not really. I just remember Rocky giving up on his hope of winning and just wanting to finish his first fight with Apollo. This exchange would be a "Flicks Remembered..." line for me, but probably not for most: "Well, who IS on our side?" "Six hundred million screaming Chinamen." "Last I heard, there were a billion screaming Chinamen." "There were." George
  9. Obviously not on anyone's radar. "The Second Hundred Years" Monte Markham plays a man whose prospector grandfather (also played by Markham) was brought to life after thawing out from a glacier. Arthur O'Connell played the "in-between" generation, so half teh time he called Markham "son" and the other half, "dad." Free post! George
  10. Now I'm really confused! George
  11. You mean, "One and one and one is three"? "Come Together" Went to a dance, looking for romance... George
  12. Part of this seems to be "Spider-Man" (or "The Amazing Spider-Man"). The kidnapped Congressman's daughter doesn't ring a bell, though. George
  13. Seems vaguely familiar. Are those lines spoken, or actually sung? George
  14. This one IS easy. I'm just letting someone else jump in, so it doesn't get to be a game of checkers... ;) George
  15. "Piano Man" You get up in the morning to the alarm clock's warning George
  16. Mr. and Mrs. Smith Brad Pitt Troy George
